Like it's been said already, a lot of people will just get on the "it's the video game's fault" bandwagon. Instead of finding out the real cause, they just blatantly blame the first thing that comes to their minds. It's as if they refuse to believe there's any other reason.

Just last year, a kid literally down the road (Like a town over) from me took a shotgun to his fathers new fiance, hid the shell, put the gun back, and acted like he did nothing.
He was 11 at the time. He's 12 now, and being tried as an adult.
