Thank god my mom left my father. I can't stand that fucking bastard....I wish I could see mine more often, but then again I know not the circumstances of what happened with you and yours, so I'll stay out.
I could tell you in a PM tomorrow...
Up to you, I'm quite a good listener, so if you wanna speak about it, feel free. But as I've said before, it's none of my buisness unless you wanna share it. Your call.

You realize that in about twenty years all of us are going to end up being those people right? The new generation constantly scorns the old, and the old generation fears the new. It's just the way of the jungle. Old alpha male seeks to maintain dominance through wisdom over younger alpha male. But then the new generation becomes the old, and the cycle repeats. It's called evolution.

Each time you talk to him, refute a point. Examples:
"10% can afford this" Well, 90% has been doing fine enough paying for the last 70 years.
"Flat income tax" That's how the government makes incentives to help people dumber than us (you and me. I don't know shit about your father.). It provides lower class people with tools to get on an even playing field. I'm not saying it's infallible--It's an ideal. And this country is built on ideals.
"Board room government" The checks and balances were put in place to make sure the people have a say. With such a small group, fatcats can buy an entire government (instead of just 2 or three senators.)
Take small chunks out until you've shown him the other side of every issue. At the end of the day (probably a month or two), you can talk to him and reach some kind of agreement.
