I have been wondering for a while if it is possible to reach orgasm through thought, and decided to take this question to the Fakku community. Can a person think themselves to climax? No stimulation, just willpower. If we can do it while asleep, can we do it while awake? Input greatly sought after, and if this is the wrong place to put it, I will be happy to relocate.

IMHO it would take a great deal of sexual frustration. It can definitely happen with man as that's what wet dreams actually are. Then again in that age you're not masturbating yet so you've got all that seed built up. Once you start it almost never happens. (On another note it never happened to me as I was an early starter).

I agree with Flaser, you probably can't the moment you started masturbating. Maybe it's the same as fapping feels less satisfying when you get a healthy dose of sex?

Personally, I've never heard of a person reaching climax through thought. A person most likely needs the actual presence of something to stimulate the genital area in a way your mind can't. I'm just saying....

Apparently, certain people who have suffered a Spinal Cord Injury can "initiate orgasm by mere mental stimulation".

Could that be a possible answer to your question?

I do not think that there would be a problem in doing that for both men a women.
It would require practice and probably also abstinence while practicing, but I do not see why it would be that hard..

Thank you all for your replies. It seems to be possible, but only to a certain degree. I've tried to before, and I'll try again, and if I ever do manage to thought-gasm, you guys will be the first to know. To the lab! There is experimentation to do.

But now that we're on the subject, I got an old story to share a friend told me some time ago. One morning, as he and his family was having breakfast, his stepbrother stepped into the kitchen, looking kinda gloom. It happened to me a few times as a kid, before I had started masturbation, so yes, it is possible. Of course, another way to look at it is that the stimulation of underwear at that point was enough. I'd assume it's possible for some people even later in life, with proper training, though I can't really imagine why someone would want that. :P

Wet dreams are a bit different, since you're asleep then. Those can happen to a man of pretty much any age, although of course they're more common among young men.

I should also mention that "orgasm" and "ejaculation" aren't strictly the same thing, although one usually accompanies the other. If you're interested in this stuff, I recommend reading up on tantric sex.

I can orgasm during lucid dreams, does that count?

I figure if you can consciously control your dreams to make yourself orgasm, then it counts.

I'm no doctor or biologist, but I'm pretty damn sure some stimulant is needed for climax. Then again, I've been amazed before on what some people can do through sheer will (then again, there is usually an underline physical trait that made it work).
