I love my mom. Never knew my dad. But, she did a great job at making me feel that I had two parents.

I love my mom, she is a single parent who works 2 minimum wage jobs to keep me and my brother happy with anything we could ever want, although she is against pretty much everything I believe in, she accepts that I have my own personality and interests. She's always worked really hard and had an awful childhood as well(kicked out of the house at 12) and I'm just hoping I can repay her one day.
Now I'm gonna go wash the dishes to see my mom's happy face when I didn't forget to do it for once.

I like my mom shes a really nice person. The occasional push in the right direction, but she doesn't nag and we don't fight.

My dad's the same way with the racist bit...I still think he's trying to get over the fact that my best friend is black. The main reason I just keep my distance from everyone in the family for the most part.

I love my mom and all she's done for my although there is a occasional argument whether it be political or religious or just plain trivial. I was the self aware kid growing up, since my mom and popz were always working and struggling to make a life good for me and my older brother. When i was a kid i always strive to be like Atticus Finch from "To Kill a Mockingbird", although i wasn't really religious.(I'm a atheist now)she's fine with that too.
Anyways i always try to see things through others perspectives.

Your mom had the power to get an abortion, so always be glad she didn't.
Of course your never going to ALWAYS see eye-to-eye with your mom on EVERY subject, hell you might not even see eye-to-eye on ANYTHING, but the point is, you share blood. I have to say though your mom has some seriously clouded judgment, do not pay her any attention, because though she gave you life, it is your OWN life to do what you want with. She can't stop you from being bisexual and into Asian culture any more than she can stop the sun from rising every morning.
