Racists

whenever i go on newgrounds or youtube, i am subject to racism because i am black. i always get these replies like "fucking nigger, why dont you fuck off, and stay off the internet!?!" and i dont pay it any attention. really it hurts me to know that that person is stupid enough to believe that one race is inferior to another based on opinion. in fact i think racism is a case of mental retardation. only people who are racist think dumb, or cling to facts they want to hear. so that is why i dont have hatred towards racist people, they are wasting THEIR lives hating others, instead of enjoying life the way it is supposed to be. if they want to be racist let them, they think their so high and mighty, let them go to their supposed "heaven" and god will tell them that they wasted time hating others with intent, and heart, and that they are going to hell.( i dont hate religion with that heaven comment, im just saying racist people believe in god the majority of the time, and they think they are doing gods work)
And how, per se, do they know that your black? You don't speak (or at least type) in a stereotypical way.
Also, the solution here is simple. DON'T read the comments. I haven't read a youtube comment in forever, and i'm a much happier person because of it.

Dude, Racism is THE SHIT.There is nothing more fun then being racist. Picking on someone just because they come from a certain place or a certain skin color. Irs absolutely hilarious.
But seriously, don't take it so hmm..."To heart" It ain't worth it. Besides, what do those mean to you?
Jack shit.
person has a small heart, Yay.
When I was small, I used to be picked on A LOT, mainly because I has a japanese accent, asian looks, and didn't believe in god. Hell, I got in fights over the god stuff. (Kid's these day with their "god" jesus christ, what do parents tell these kids?)
I got over it.
Why? Because its useless to argue. Lets say if a tree called you a racist remark. What can you do? Nothing. I mean, even if they "were" intelligent enough to reasonable argue, whats the point? You are still arguing with a damn tree.
This doesn't mean I'm racist. I still judge a book by its cover. Thats everyones natural reaction.
If I see a white kid wearing big school color jacket and a hat, I'm going to assume he's a jackass who picks on kids, acts like they are the shit, and only hang out with other jocks.
If I see some black kid with his pants halfway down his ass, his shirt 3x larger then his frame and an oversized hat put on the wrong way, I'm going to assume he is some ghetto kid who talks like a retard, using dimwit english and hanging out in "Da Hood"
-Only mentioned the White and Black because I got lazy-
Now of course theres others(Latino folk = Burritos, Asian Folk = Eats Dogs, Indian Folk = Nothing but curry, Germans = Nazi, etc)
I presume everything, and 90% of the time...I'm right.
Stereotypes are there for a reason. Because they're true. Of course they don't apply as much as they suggest, but a lot of them are true.
Yes, Japanese people take off their shoes when they're inside.
Yes, I love sushi.
No, we don't eat dogs.
I'm done.
damn.
you could have added a bit more for asian stereotypes but whv.
it was still great. d[^o^]b
the main problem is that some people take it too seriously
and totally start complaining about it.
[size=10]ignore it or just learn to control your anger![/h]
those jokes are funny up to a point.. until it gets super annoying but yes no harm done to anybody.

Yes, its fun picking on someone, race is the first thing that can be easily used as an alibi for picking on someone. Its funny and eases out stress. But there's got to be a limit to it. It shouldn't go out of control.

Taking it seriously will result in making the problem worse. Show a little sense of humor and the racist might, just maybe, give up on messing up with you. And its funny too when their actions don't bring your attention and they get humiliated in front of others.

Although Japanese are Asians, they have manners, talents, and prefer seafoods... so eating dogs is not in their menu.
As for me, I'm a filipino (Hate Me! I hate it too) we too have our own set of manners, but the majority of filipinos have more than, if i were to put it in percentage, 75% of their manners on the bad side. Their minds are almost always filled with having something to deal with relationships. Playboys and playgirls, its annoying.
But that eating dogs thing are only among a certain race within the filipino race, heck I even hate to even try the local food of "balot", much less a fish, which are common delicacies/foods here.
More reason to hate about filipinos is their Popular characteristic, known as "corruption." Some Filipinos are smart, like the inventor of the car that runs on water that failed, i think, which he sold to some other car company, I think it was BMW or Mitsubishi? dunno, but the point is, a normal inventor would contribute his work to his country, but he did not sell it to the philippines but rather to another country, because the govt. here thought that with cars running on water, they won't be able to steal money that came from the oil industry. coz' oil here has a high VAT.
I'm turning my back on my Blood  hate me. Anyways I grew up away from the Phil. so sounds reasonable to compare my real country to where I grew up with, and then start hating.

Hey blue M&M! Your cultures/ideologies/ideas are inferior to others, so I'm not going to eat you!
YOU DON'T DO THAT SHIT. We're all still the same species, you can't say we're different. We may be different in the way we live, talk, and act but we're still human. You can't be inferior to the cultures/ideologies/ideas because its UNIQUE to that country.
Racism ain't that bad, but when it comes to challenging their cultures/ideologies/ideas it becomes bad, if it were ancient times, such a provocation would immediately spark a war. We/a person might feel inferior to others, but one should not feel inferior because of his culture/ideologies/ideas because different as we may be, we are all born equal... do not know American history, but I know I heard/read it somewhere, a prominent person in U.S. history said this words "All Men are created Equal!" I think it was either Abraham Lincoln or Marthin Luther King.

Well.. now you know how us jews have felt from 4000 BCE - Modern Times. The best thing for you to do, is to either do nothing or write smiley faces as replies all over their comment. Or, you can act like one of those freaky dudes on the net and say 'I love you, and i want you to rape me', creepy shit like that. I prefer the latter.

I also gotta love the placements of what you are depending on your location. In Florida I'm Cuban, rest of the east I'm Dominican or Puerto Rican (I'm PR), and here on the wast I'm Mexican. Noone ever asks "What ethnicity are you?" Nooooo they hear my last name and automatically start tryin speakin Spanish (Lol I don't know much Spanish... I know more Japanese then Spanish.) to me or say "YO WETBACK WHAT UP HOMIE!" Gotta love America...

The funny thing is that it is inevitable for humans, you even did it yourself just now.
Atleast we do not act on such impulses.

Throughout mankind's history, there has always been racism, or the feeling of superiority and inferiority... Since ancient times superior nations become conquerors and inferior ones become a stool for the feet of their conquerors.
Without such acts, there won't be much wars and history classes might be limited to inventions, discoveries, etc. which is boring. I kinda like details of Wars, they spark my interest on history classes >.< (Darn warfreak  )
But to end such hatred one has to make a change so that others would follow your example and make a change too, but I doubt that hardcore racists would even budge :?

You know, when you get offended by stupid little things like racism, it gives power and credit to the racist. They are doing it to offend you. And to be dicks in general.
Racism is funny, and it should be. If it's funny, then it had no use for the humorless dicks that actually think that melanin levels somehow affect brain function.
And never, EVER feed the trolls, man.

most racists are racist because their family/friends/general populous is racist. it's bred into them into them, they aren't doing it just to be an asshole (though I do know people that are racist for that reason). when hatred is
bred into you it's kind of hard to get rid of, me being an exception.
and I agree, don't feed the trolls all they do is ruin the carpets ^_^

I wasn't saying that the only reason a person is racist is because they like to be anoying to people. There are people who really believe that shit. I was saying that taing it as seriously as they do only aids them.
You can easily deal with ignorance by ignoring it. Although this wont work for youmlitant racist, your general dumbass falls easily to your refusal to argue with him. Which is what they are seaking, being out on the internet. When you go to a public forum with something like racism, you want to argue with people, agree with people, or convert people. Or some combination thereof.
Of course, there are many ways and reasons to become a racist, but none of them good.
Don't be an idiot, folks, genetic superiority or inferiority has nothing to do with skin pigment.

lemme ask you one question. you didn't grow up in a predominantly racist culture now did you? because it's easy to say that when you've been looking in from the outside like a fishbowl.

Its wrong to be racist of skin color.
Its not wrong to be hateful of a certain way of life/culture.
For example, black ghettos. I've never seen anything more disrespectful and rude in my entire life.
That doesn't mean I hate the people. I have a friend who grew up, talks, acts and looks like he's from the ghetto. But he is one of the kindest, most polite people I know in my entire life. His outlook on life is so bright. He even makes you optimistic.
Life is a funny thing, you either love it or hate it. You can't let little things like hate get you down. Meaning, just because someone says something bad to you, you can say the same thing back. Its what they think, its not point in trying to change it. Just enjoy it for its pros and cons.

don't forget that racism doesn't stop at whites against blacks, and vice versa. Racism comes in many shapes and sizes. insert (some random civilization) and put (another random civilization) and you get racism. in general humans tend to be a rather hateful race. Racism doesn't stop at just "race" (by definition it does but the idea continues) when you let the fact that you don't confine to the mould of the general populi call "perfect" they hate you weather they say they don't or not.

Seriously, though, I've lived my whole life around racists, more or less, and had several personal...conflicts with the more radical kinds. Can't imagine why you would assume either way, but I can safely assume you grew up around racist, given that soap box you are standing on. Probably a personal pride that you escaped from a racist mindset or something like that. And it probably should be. It's very easy to fall in line with everyone around you, even when they are wrong. And it's also human nature to dislike and fear anything unlike you; be it in apearance, action, or belief. Probably why everyone is somewhat prejudiced. First impressions are mostly based on generalizations we have gathered about the way someone dresses, or speaks, or their age, or color of their skin, or anything else like that.
So, no need to be so hostile about it, why don't you tell me exactly what I'm saying that is bothering you?

If only this were true. Unfortunately, it's not.
Even if everyone shares the same skin color, people would still be prejudice against religions and location. Instead of saying, "All Asians are bad drivers," a racist could just say, "All Chinese are bad drivers." The racist may not be able to look at a random person on the street and tell if the person is Chinese, but the racist could still make comments concerning everybody in the country, and the racist could definitely express his/her racism if confronted with someone by China who makes it known that he/she is from China.
But people would still argue about color. "Haha, Billy's only one-eighth black! He's nothing compared to me, a half-black!"

oh well, sorry if I sounded hostile... that tends to happen when I get serious about a subject. however you hit the nail right on the head, growing up in western PA, where everybody around you acts like they are from the old confederacy. Racism is everywhere, though. I've lived in the South (Virginia) and in the north (Michigan), and the biggest difference is how racism presents itself. People in the south are more openly racist, yelling about damn wetbacks taking their jobs, etc., whereas in the north, people are sortof covert about their racism. They don't yell about it, their actions just reflect their racism. They treat people differently. Which I feel is more deviant.
But right now I live in Newport News, Virginia, which is a wierd sort of place where white trash meats blck ghetto, sortof. It's really racialy mixed, which causes racial tension for some people, but breaks down racism a bit as well, for others. I think in this area, it has something to do with age as well.
