[Locked] Should Corporal punishment be reintroduced?

I want your opinion about if it is a good idea to reintroduce corporal punishment in schools. I know a few schools still do them but, should more schools reintroduce them.

No its idiotic to even have corporal punishment in schools. The only thing you are teaching the kid is that if the child does something wrong you should use violence.

Discipline through pain.
Just as how the saying that one must lose something to know it's importance. I believe that if inflicting a wound or two would let a person learn his/her lesson, then it must be done. One simply has to realize that by playing your part , you serve as a cog that'll help the clockwork known as "society" run more smoothly.
