I'm pretty sure this isn't true. The government doesn't print money for this kind of spending, they just increase the debt. They either take money from other sources of income that were meant for other things(people paying into social security, etc) or borrow money via bonds. Printing 1 trillion dollars, as you say, would be idiotic. I'd be interested to know what source claims we are going to print 1 trillion dollars.

Let me counter with this. We had to print money for the bank bailouts. The last few years we have been borrowing money from other countries to pay for the various programs of the government. Social Security is already a mess and will be bankrupt before we're old enough to draw benefits. People are spending money to be taxed to raise the income of the Federal Government. So what's left?

We're already printing money for "smaller" spending. So..what is so hard to grasp when we are about to spend 1/3rd of the total federal budget (of 2008) within the first two months of 2009? The money wasn't there before and the politicians couldn't play their economic voodoo then so why is it any different now? The money didn't exist then and it doesn't exist now. Even borrowing this amount of money only means that we are digging a deeper hole. I can't go into debt and keep spending and somehow magically get out of debt. Neither can the government. You simply can't spend your way out of debt.

I am sorry but i have to say this: I find this INSULTING and DISCRIMINATORY!!! you the americans invadin Mexico? you better think it twice cause as a soldier like me, i am totally ready to die for my beautiful country! as everybody around here i guess, if your country is in danger i guess you fight for him... yes you discovered me i am Mexican, do you have any problem with that?

I know that there are many problems in both nations, drugs cartels, weapon and people smuggling, and many things. Also i know that some people (not all) dont want us there, some people see us like criminals or drug dealers but trust me, not all of us are like that we are more the good people here, just cuzz some traitors to our country make that the world watch us like bad people, doesnt mean that my country is a coutry of criminals. Thats why i am in the mexican army, we are doing everything to change this, we are everyday capturing those traitors but they, as you well know sometimes are protected by corrupted autorities and we are "cleaning the house" as president Calderon says.

Maybe you think: "Mexico is corrupt", i agree but, which country is not?, Maybe you think: "They are criminals or drug dealers", i agree but this is only in Mexico?, Maybe you think: "They are indians, ignorants and poor", i agree (in fact i am proud to have aztec blood) but which country hasnt this problems? Leave us with our problems, deal with yours first. We have problems in common yes thats we need to talk and find a good solution for both nations

Sorry but i really got to say this, and if you are not agree with, fine, i respect all nations, i think that USA is a very nice country, (i got friends there and i believe that all the americans here are my friends too, cuzz we share the same "disease": hentai) like Canada, Brazil, Cuba, Russia, Sweden, England, Japan, etc. All the world for me is my friend, i dont care where are you from as long as you respect me i'll respect you, cause we only want one thing: more hentai. All nations have their good things and problems too.

why is this in the serious discussion? i thought Obama made some announcement he was incading Mexico because they attacked us or something.

if some random guy from Japan wnated to come here, there would be no problem. im sure he would have to go through the necessary paperwork for his citizenship, but its not like we are gonna put him on a plane back to Asia. so why do we need to crack down on Mexicans? Mexican people take all the jobs nobody even wants. this is the only reason why i would say i hate America, because of this so caleld "problem". if the reason for sending Mexicans back to Mexico is because it is easier to put mexicans back in mexico then it is to ship other people back to their respective continents, then isn't that worthy of calling America hypocrits/racists? this is called "the land of the free", so why do Mexicans have to sneak into America? not to be racist or even mean to Arab and/or Indians (from India), but when 9/11 happened, the government said it was the fault of Arab terrorists. i didn't see any Arab people kicked out of America just because they were associated with their own nationality. hell Canada has done some fucked up things to, theres no border patroll there.

Despite the difference in scale. A Japanese citizen couldn't cross the ocean via some makeshift raft. He'd had to sail on a ship or fly here by plane. We'd catch them at the origin becayse 1) you can't fly internationally without a passport unless it's to specific places (like U.S. to Canada pre-crackdown). Japan and the U.S. aren't that "tight" so flying to America is out of the question. What about sailing? Wait, passports are required for that too. Well, he's not getting into this country without some serious backing or he comes here on a work/student visa then overstays when the visa runs out. Which then we'd catch him and send him back home via a plane.

"Mexicans" on the other hand come across in droves. Take jobs away from LEGAL immigrants and citizens. Doesn't matter if we want the job or not. Somebody will take the job because they want to eat. If I lose my job, I'll go work at McDonalds, I'll go back out and work construction,etc. If the job exists, somebody will do it. If they came through the proper channels then we'd be golden. Just fill out a few sheets of paper and wait. It's not that hard, it's actually about as difficult as filling out a job application.

That is my issue with illegals. They cut in line in front of other immigrants, the break our laws (by entering and not leaving, some even drive without car insurance), then take jobs away from legal immigrants and American Citizens



We're not racist..well some Americans are but, not all. The difference between "arab" americans and "Mexicans" is the method they got into the country. Arabs come in legally where as "Mexicans" don't.

About Canada: It's Canada. We don't need to hire a security guard for the guy renting the apartment above us. Unless he starts making a lot of noise so we can't sleep at night. Once people start sneaking into America via Canada we'll put boarder patrol there.

I agree, but we must remember that a lot of "mexicans" go to USA legally, and with all the paper work done, even with that a lot of us become discriminated, i also agree with you not all americans are racist i know that, i got a lot of friends there, Chicago, NY, Texas... we just want and not only us the "mexicans", all the immigrants in US, arab, jap, chinese, etc. we want a little or your hospitality cause most of us the only thing we want is a job, could be disturbin for you, maybe for me too if you come to Mexico and ask for a job, but you dont lose anything for givin us an oportunity to help you and in the same time helpin us. Intelligent Americans don't have a problem with your kind of immigration. As long as they come in through legal methods and at least assimilate into the culture (i.e. speak English in public) then most Americans wouldn't even take a second look. Any person would be willing to give you a job but, you still have the stigma as long as immigrants are crossing the boarder illegally. Also it's human nature to dislike those who aren't like you blah blah blah.
