Same here, not really into the slave thing, but I can see how some people might be into it. It's OK as long as it doesn't go overboard and fill up most of the page with some ugly old guy instead of the girl, IMO.

If written well and the drawings are tame, I can see this genre being really something.

As is, they're always virgins or middle-aged woman with cold husbands who have breakdowns EXPLICITLY through sexual torture. They also break too easily, or I am grossly underestimating a woman's sensitivity. Women are FAR stronger mentally than Japanese authors give them credit for, or this is the whole male fantasy thing at play again.

The sexual training thing is a decent read, but I'd like to see the guy take a stab at trying to (win her over/break her) with just words, ESPECIALLY after a session of sexual training. The guy can be all condescending, sure that she'll break and the woman should be every bit as condescending, with the "is that your best shot?" glare.

In the end, all I really want is more plot and intelligent dialogue in my hentai. I'm preaching to the choir I suppose.

It's not really my style and I don't think it's plausible in any way in real life (most girls I know of from all walks of life would most likely rip your balls off at the mere mention of attempting something like that). I guess that's why it's hentai, though.

True that we're only interested in ogling at the female, but a wrinkly and/or large body on the side is quite distracting.
A bland human is much less distracting.

Well in this kind of doujinshi it really depends on the story,the facial feature of the rapist and the psychological impact to the readers some of it has a moral lesson to it. once, i've read a manga that the boy is really useless doing nothing to save her girl from being rape by old individuals (reaction enrage) then a manga that the girl is just really a slut a whore despite that her BF is so loyal and do what ever he can do to protect her and love her (reaction angry) then i've read a manga about maids being rape by guest of their masters house the bad thing is the guest are old people (reaction enrage again) and there are manga like the other user said the situation becomes reverse by the way the guy on the manga I read (reaction laughing and happy) what I really hate is when a character in a anime I know is being rape (reaction very angry that I want to kick the person who did the doujinshi) about the submission to sex and mindbreaking part I must say the mindbreaking is what I really must say loathe. girls are not that weak you know girls can be the most cruel beings on the world they can charm you to get your money they can kill by putting poison on their cooking they can have sex with you hiding a knife in their backs.(ahem* back to the story part) so what i'm pointing is it really depends on the story if the story has a happy ending in the end good if the story has no closure bad all I can say rape scenes has a lot of genre but i just noticed today that they make so many doujinshins that's all about mindbreaking and rape bad part the perpetrators are old farts. uhmm.. that's what i think.

Sigh.. AGAIN!!! why is it that the doujins with good arts are always ntr with Fat/old/disgusting men? i ask myself that again as this is really hot but alswell being rage material, It baffles me again i have to admit, well looks like i've got alot of paint job to do....

damm I hate these hentai doujins. with a passion. They are disgusting not because of the old or fat but of the rape and lack of love. I hate when I see a lover get raped and the other lover can't do a thing. I also hate it when the man is watching and hes not doing a damm thing wimps. sorry I am a romantic an if it were me I would rather kill or die then have my lover be raped.

While this is not the exact reason, just a theory, I say it is because in hentai or doujinshi, the viewer wants to see a slender body type. Or if it is not highly slender, either being a little on the chubby side or flat out fat, it is when you involve some form of slavery to the mix, that the viewer gets angry.

Overweight people are usually seen as a hungry for more, must have it, and demand satisfaction.
Old people are usually seen as someone who, though you do not want to, have to listen to and abide by.
Filthy (physically) people add a sense of rape, because while you may not mind otherwise, or can deal to a degree here or there, if the master is filthy, then it adds the mood of stooping to a low level. Sort of like "How did I end up having to please this piece of garbage waste???"

Those traits are usually ones that will send off a message in the head that they are even MORE demanding, need to be in control, or other things, thus acting as a theme of sorts, to the slave setting.

I like the whole dominant/submissive genre. It can be a huge turnon if done right, but often times I find it is not done well. I really really dislike that there is such a plethora of hentai with ugly, old guys. I am female and although I understand most hentai are focused on the girl, I want some attractive guys to look at. Is that really so hard to do? I almost never read hentai with old, ugly guys because its like, "oh this is a decent hentai, maybe not the most innovative story, but I can deal." Then I see the guy and It is a total turn off. Erotic mood killed.

I have to agree with Damsel.

I am a guy, and ugly guys are huge turn-off for me. It's impossible to relate to a fat/ugly male. The perfect character physique is leptosome and muscular, like most male models in the high-fashion industry.
