Sometimes,people think about our hobby is disgusting,and of course the drawer is getting more attention from those people.They think the artist has an unusual and useless job.... :evil:

So,especially to all the artist,what do you think about this?

I don't think the hobby of drawing hentai is useless. Rather, i think its one of the greatest gifts the artist can have. The detail, time and effort people go into creating works of art is absolouely amazing. an artist should'nt be put off by what critics think since its a hobby in the first place and people draw for the enjoyment of it. I should know because i draw all the time (not hentai btw) and fuck anyone who says otherwise.

P.S im curious what is your school project about?

And my country look into hentai is a disgusting art,they think about the porn only.

So I think about manga drawer,who really contribute to my hobby.... :D

Drawing is gifts that not all people have. Anyway to hell with people that say artist is an useless job, just from where they think their beautiful portrait made by? The music they enjoy, their so-called cool design and many things, the book they like, that was made by an artist

Hentai is visually appealing. I don't know what those guys are talking about. If they think visually appealing is appalling, they're the ones at fault.

....to them it may be disgusting but for meso i don't care if they call hentai artists unusual or say its a useless job,they just dont have the talent and is are jealous,and wants to destroy others fun .........(bad English is bad, sorry bout that)

you know these kind of job keep making mi think it not really a job but more like addition because everytime u finish a art work and show to other peoples they usally said WOW THIS LOOK GREAT or if they jelous u know how they react and those complement makes the person want to keep drawing more and more leading them to those job since they need to get money from somewhere
P.S. just curious what gread are u in that talk about those kind of things in english o.o cause mine all day long they make us write in many different style ....

Well,I'm in 11th grade,and using the longman english book,about unusual job,so i think this wonderful job as an extraordinary job.

Could somebody clarify this for me, I really want to answer this question, but your English is lacking, and I don't know exactly what you're asking.

Also: I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, manga style since 7, and porn since 10. I'm 18 now.

Let me take a crack here (I pulled out a sheet and diagrammed your posts to try and get it.):

In the art community, Americans who draw manga-style art face a bit of adversity to start with. Many artists see it as a "perversion" of more classic forms, mostly sketching and ink paintings. Though they have a bias against realist-style graphic novels, the majority of the ill will is on us.

Apparently western society is after the adult entertainment industry (despite it being one of the most profitable) as well. Those conservative values condemn any and all forms of pornography in public, regardless of private opinion. (I hear many "don't like" it in private too, they just do it anyway.)

Put that together, and you are being attacked on all sides over your profession, despite the merits, or true downsides.



Also, I draw it from time to time, but usually only if my computer is broken.
