What imporant thing would you give up for food?

If you had to give up something important forever in order to get food (lets say everyone is poor to point where they can't eat food). What would you give up?

Hmm, I understand that in the given scenario we are poor, but how much food are we talking about...? And under what circumstances and or conditions are we living under? Do we have a home and all of our previous belongings (aside from cash/money) or are we on the street, with nothing but the clothes on our body?
Depending on what I have left, and how much food we're speaking of... what I give up varies. But... I suppose, overall, I'd give up enough to get by.

Err..anyway, I don't know. I have a few items that mean a lot to me, like photos, signatures, and collectibles, and if I had to give them up in order to survive I would.

Unless it's one of those situations where you pick something, and it disappears, and then the food appears, I would just take down one of my swords, grab my knife, and go people-better-off-then-me hunting.
Can't be in a situation where everyone is poor, unless some kind of apocalypse is on, and if that were the case, I'd have much bigger things to worry about.

I was pretty much gonna post the same thing. Some of my most valuable things are weapons, so why not just use them to procure food from the people who are asking me to give up my cool swag? About damn time I put some of this stuff to use.

what if questions are flawed. It's like this. What if ya do this, what happens, or What if I do that, would you do this or that? all in all, its not very serious

Well, if we say that, then the other thing I could just say is that you arern't taking the question seriously in the first place. I could ask a homeless person the same question, and despite not having much would still give up something for it. Maybe not absolutely important, but still something. It really just depends how you take the question. If you're taking it as a joke quesiton, then heck go for it, if you're taking it seriously like I'm trying to do >.> then it works as a serious question. If I was dying for food, I wouldn't really care how flaw the question is, I would just answer.
Plus assuming that we're all can afford a computer (how else would you get on, food is probably to be one of our least worry, so I already foresaw that some wouldn't answer the question seriously. In our present world today, one of us may end up bankrupt and not have enough for food that you had to give something up. If you were in this situation, what would you give up assuming whatever is important to you is equivalent to not starving or thirst in the long term. I guess I should have explained better, but in no way did I mean this to be a "wtv question".

Well... assume you just don't have food at all. Cause obviously giving food for food is kinda dumb unless you're on some kind of picnic where everyone shares their food... Anything else important to you other then "food"

can i offer electricity? without it we cant do nothing in nowdays so i think its one of those possesions we all have but doesnt consider it, 'till its gone ^^ so im gonna offer electricity for food 'cause its the "most important" thing ^^

I'm already in this boat. I gave up Cable, Home Phone, Buying Games, Name Brand Foods, Going out to Dinner, and my bicycle (it's pretty fucked up and repairs on it are like 200 bucks).

Well if you own an electricity company, I guess that make sense, I mean it works if it's important to you. Lol on the raw meat btw
