As time has gone on and I’ve consumed porn and the like more, I’ve begun to change the way I think of it. Early on I certainly was of the mindset that, since it’s all accessible for free I’d be a fool to pay for what’s already there. But over time I started to reevaluate my relationship with it and acknowledged to myself that, porn or not, I’m consuming art. And art is made by artists who need money to get by and put food on the table. For all kinds of non-porn related art I’ve always had the stance that consumers should go out of their way to pay for art they like so the artist can be encouraged to put more art out into the world. And once I started down that road, consuming porn solely for free became unreconcilable. I still watch and read free porn don’t get me wrong, I’m not MADE of money. It’s just more that I’ve tried to be more cognizant about paying for it here and there when I can. I try supporting artists’ Patreons and subscribing to various egirls’ Onlyfans when possible. Also I’ve generally tried to use pornhub less and less because they’ve only seemed shadier and shadier to the people who work with them the more I’ve looked into it. I get why people don’t pay for it, because hey we all live in a capitalistic hellscape, it’s just more the people who scoff at the idea of ever doing so that rubs me the wrong way.

If you pay you are supporting the artists and you receive a service with a higher degree of security, quality and professionalism. Nothing more to it for me.
