Why are we here?
0
There's no reason at all we are here, other than the natural processes that gave birth to the universe, to our galaxy, our Sun, the planets, etc. And then to all your ancestors living and dying until your parents finally had you. That makes it sound like we are all the culmination of some great historical destiny, doesn't it lol. But that's a rather depressing, indecorous way of looking at life and so people come up with many ways to justify their existence.

I always thought it was just some test anyway, some religions say that you go to a heaven and others say come back and get a better life for example. Otherwise you get to go to hell or come back and have a really bad life.
Small little theory I haven't picked up on for some time though.

(Sorry if someone else already posted this subject.) What is our purpose? For what reason are we here? Is there some greater existance? Or are we just here because we are? Are we nothing more than mistakes? What do you think?I battle with such existential questions every day.
I try to believe in some greater purpose, some final reward for all the suffering in the world. This can most likely never be proven, not to myself nor anyone else. On the other hand, when I my meditations are really going well, I feel something like that inside, and it uplifts me.

Battling with your existence only makes you aware of what you lack in life, causing you to see yourself as a small speck in the universe and minimizing your value. Its a great concept if you're feeling ahead of yourself, but young people and/or people with generally no contribution to society, yet, tend to lack self-esteem and confidence when undergoing this.
If you belong to the latter group, snap the fuck out of it. Answer your existential question with a brief definite answer and don't follow up on the thought. Example:
Why am I here?
>Where, at Fakku? I'm here to dl porn and fap to my heart's delight
I usually undergo an existential four times a year like a woman's menstrual period: you feel like shit and your feel like going nowhere.

I don't think there is any reason as to why we are here, we're just another branch on the evolutionary tree. We're like any other animal on the planet in fact if it weren't for our ability to make tools and weapons. We would be at the bottom of the food chain.
In a nutshell: We're a bunch of monkeys that so happened to be able to think.

Q= Why are we here
A= We are here to live and then die in a near endless cycle. To attempt to explain why you are here with anything else just means that you are trying to make yourself or the human race "special" or "unique". But in an (at least how we see it) infinitely expanding universe, who are we to say what is and is not unique. But I digress, we are here for any reason that you care to think of.

I forget if i've answered this already but whatever.
We are here to live, be happy and make other happy. How we do it is up to us. If there is an afterlife, we will we judged on how well we did those things.
Even if thats not the real answer, its what it should be, if people followed this i'm sure the world would be a much better place.

"Why" is only of human importance. It's a question we seek to find an answer to - but not a question the universe is concerned with. I think "Why?" is a human idea, and there may ultimately be no answer. I just enjoy my life and consider myself extremely lucky to be here. I'm not going to concern myself a great deal with "Why?".

Life has no meaning
Life has no purpose
because you only live then you die unless you created some kind of medicine that will let you live forever but whats the point? To know all everything there is to know? but what will you do with all the knowledge? Become a god? then whats next? well its up to your imagination.
It doesn't matter what time and age you live in, purpose or meaning in life, it's up to you on what will you do with your life And i call that passion.

There is no predetermined reason. We are born in this world and we will die in this world. We are no more important as a small fly is. But still, life goes on. Live life, walk forward make your own purpose.

So we can ask this question? Or perhaps experience life itself. It does not matter why we are here or how long we are, the purpose of life is life itself. It does not matter if there is something beyond life and after death, it is life itself that shapes us and that in itself is its purpose. Life cannot be explained in terms what we should do throughout the time that we are parts of this realm of existence. We exist because we are alive, and we die as a means to an end and final rest. It is not a meaningless or empty existence, though it may not have a purpose, as we are compelled to change as the world changes around us, and that is what it is to be alive, to live. We work to change the world around us every day without ever knowing why, and that is the strength in the purpose of this thing we call life. It defines itself, it is an eternal story that plays long after we are no longer there, and needs no reason to rationalize its existence but the fact that it does indeed exist. We continue to try to define the undefinable, and through that we continue to be driven by the purpose of life.

Literally: Because the earth was of habitable climate and makeup, which allowed for the slow evolution from single cells to complex creatures. One branch of this evolutionary tree became people after billions of years. Hence, us.
More Philosophically: The reasons for are existence are given by a myriad of confident and false religions, but if you wish to subscribe to one of them, I would suggest you watch Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot speech first, as I believe it adequately describes our lack of spiritual purpose in this world, while also showing that a "higher purpose" is not needed to live a full and enjoyable life.
also, inb4 Kalistean highjacks the thread to make it retarded again

In my opinion, the why is not important. The fact is, you are here, so you might as well enjoy your stay. That is all.

We are here because our existence is needed .
Imagine that your existence is suddenly gone.
Imagine your most special moments with friends, family etc. then you are suddenly gone from it. Isn't it sad?
We are here to extend our threads of fate, threads waiting for other existences to intertwine with it.
