men and women are equal most of my friends are girls about 70% and honestly i get pissed off when i hear any of them get put down or are treated poorly because their women i don't let that slide, my friend told me that some bastard said something bad about her and he made her cry so went to "Talk" to him and made him go and beg for her forgiveness.Men and women are equal[size=12] [/h]
You, sir, are a hypocrite.
But it's ok, a lot of guys are like that, they say women are equal or such sort of thing, but at the same time feel like they have to protect them.
Not really your fault, either.
Evolutionary imperative.

hmmm...i think the whole thing about women are lower than men came from ancient times, when almost all tasks that would help you make a living are physical. since those era are way in the past now, and women nowadays get the same education, and at least equal to us in money-making ability, so this women are lower mentality should also disappear.and well, of course i believe women and men are equal. we're all humans, and we're long past the time that needs distinction between sexes.
It's fairly simple, traditionally, the man gets the food and protects the family from harm, while the woman gives birth to and nurtures the next generation. To more modern times, this translates to the man getting a job and paying for things and the woman giving birth to and nurturing the next generation.
In either scenario, the woman's job is just as, if not more, important as the man's job. Just different. Women are typically better suited for different things. Men are physically stronger and have better spacial understanding, and women can give birth and naturally feed babies.
I do not really understand why women get upset if someone says that it's a woman's job to take care of the kids, as though insuring the survival of the human race is a minuscule task.

well i gave it some thought, and i think women are equal to men in value, but what men do and what women do are two totally different tasks. however men and women are equal because if a man wanted, he could be a stay at home dad, and the mom could do the going out and working and feeding the family. however when it comes to that, in some cases, women feel like they are doing all of the work, and don't like it, and go rambling on about how they feel the dad is not doing anything. so i think that socially men and woman are not equal. as a living thing, we are, but in the social system we have today, no.
for example: when a woman gets raped, its rape. when a guy gets raped, there is no real way for him to actually be subdued and raped like a woman, so he cant be raped. plus women do not penetrate men, men have levers, while women have slots. there is no real way to rape a man. there is also that double standard about how when men have sex with hundreds of women, he is cool, and when women do it, they are sluts. men are considered to be emotionless cuz we don't give birth, and women do, so (my mom thinks this) some women think they naturally are better at feeling things then us men are. women should be honored and respected, while men should be the one to give that respect, regardless if a woman deserved it. men have to pay for everything on dates. women have to watch children all day. these things could be swapped around (with the exception of birth) but then women would think that it is some sort of chauvinist remark to switch things around.
men are generally considered lazy, women are generally considered not to be. really socially us men and woman are not equal, whether it be women on top, or men on top. so as humans; yes. as socially equal; no. i probably did not say it right, but i mean i have a point here, so if i made it sound stupid, my bad. (i was on to something but i kinda got off topic a little i think)

The way i see it girls / ladies are nothing more than an equal i recognize from my experience, as i have seen it through my life, females tend to have their god and bad points here, sometimes female need the compassion and partnership of a higher intimate level, such as love from male, while in some cases in my life i consider any women here or around the globe to have capabilities that match up or even superior then us males, seeming the old teaching from my father is nothing more then a less-than-nothing shit talk about female's place being only in the house, actually screw my father at almost ruining my life. Like guys too we have times we need intimate companionship and also there are times we will manifest all our power to dangerous level against threats and challenges in life, seeming this would be the way i would say both sex are of the equal grounds. It depends on how we understand it. ^^ 8)

I don't like to admit it.. but i'm kind of a sexist , I find it was better in the old dayz , when the woman stayed home , looked after the kids while the men went hunting and such, i find IMO that women are most of the times too emotional and thus i find that well.. Leave the talk to men and the housework to the woman.
P.S don't flame me too much o_O

What do you think about women?Do you discriminate them or think that we're equal?
Or maybe you're extreme feminists who think we're superior?
I'm just curious. Of course, you don't have to answer, I myself is a feminist, not extremist though, I think that we women should be equal to men.

Well to this i got to say the same thing as many people here says, women must have the same rights as men everywhere.
And at the end they are the most beautiful stuff that God, Ala, Buda, Jehova or the Universe ever created!!! cuzz without them what we supossed to do? be gays? (no offend, am not insulting gays.), or even worst hentai wouldnt exist as we all know. lol.
And i think that people that molest, discriminate, humiliate or abuse any women or kids should be wipe out of the planet.

Good women are good the same way that good men are good. I don't think that people evaluate others based on gender. Modernized society flushed that down the toilet ages ago. It's pretty much been established that both genders have the same capacity and statistics that men > women in some way or women > men in some other way is bullshit and just for giggling. Probably already said. Whoops.
Some people are worth more than others imo, but society judges people based on ability/accomplishments when you don't know someone personally. A successful 25 year old businesswoman would be looked upon more favorably than a jobless 40 year old man who lives in their parents' basement. Just like how a male professor is looked upon more favorably than an 18 year old girl who sits on her ass all day watching dramas. Nobody gives a shit about gender anymore unless they're looking for a partner.
Personally, I'll treat both the same. If somebody, regardless of gender or status, is near the door when it's open, I'll hold the door for them. Chivalry isn't limited to being nice to females. Everybody appreciates it, and I like recognizing that.
Not that I don't like men being extra courteous to me. In fact, I love it. Equality's nice and all, but some things should just be left alone. Stop changing the dictionary, for one. >_>

My opinion about women? ....kind of a weird question.
I think the main problem is grouping all 'women' into one category and weighing them against 'men', when each and everyone of them should be counted as individuals instead. I could answer this question if it said 'What is my opinion about Susan', but this isn't something I'm really qualified to deal with. I can't really stand the concept of people saying women are better than men, or men are better than women, when either statement is so broad in nature that it can't possibly apply in every case. In that respect, it's just as silly to claim we're all equal.
