2014 Hype

No specific order besides the order I remembered them (and I still probably forgot some).

Guilty Gear Xrd: I've been asking for this since Λ Core's release back in 2007 as I'm sure many others have been as well. Seven years later, Ishiwatari is finally going to deliver.

Vanguard Princess: I'm sad that so few people played the released versions, but I love that it's getting an English release on Steam.

Oddworld: New n' Tasty: A remake of an often overlooked classic.

Blazblue - Chrono Phantasma: Less hyped about this than I was for CT or CS; Aksys did some things that irritated me greatly with CS's release and I still don't trust them. Still like the series though.

Theif 4: Though it's a reboot, I still hope the gameplay holds up to the originals and that Garrett retains his usual charm.

Persona 5: See Ammy's post.

Full release of Mercenary Kings: I like a lot of idea's the devs used in the beta, but I dunno if they will expand them in a more engaging way.

I'm particularly hype for Hotline Miami 2 because Cactus said there'd be a trailer before it's released in Q1 2014, so we should be getting one soon.

Thief 4 Promises to be fun.

I actually think 2014 is coming up pretty lame for games. I am not at all excited about the PS4 or the Xbox One and no new game is keeping me interested. The only reasons I can think for getting a PS4 later on will most likely be Fallout 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 although the latter is a less than a ghost at this point. Other than that, I am just seeing if I can pick up a few PS3 games for cheap prices and consider my PS3 game hunt complete.

I know my roommate and myself are ready for some Dark Souls 2. But as for other game, i dont have a large list, mostly just the big titles.

I play on Play on PS3; I don't own a Xbox. If we want to continue this conversation, perhaps we should take it to PMs.
