[3DS] Persona Q - Shadow of the Labyrinth

3 new Personas were announced, none of them were P5, this thread is about the 3DS version of the franchise. Date of release June 5 2014 in Japan.

Persona Q looks like to be a crossover of P3 and P4 characters (in chibi form) featuring a dungeon crawling type gameplay (Etrian Odyssey style).

You beat me to the punch.

OT: Will wait for previews of this to see how it plays. More typical Persona is always welcome, of course, but I'd like to see something set this apart, other than being chibi and (relatively) light-hearted.

Also, I could probably dig this game. The idea of the casts of 3 and 4 interacting gets me going enough. I know when you went to Gekkoukan High and talked to the class prez in 4 I was flippin' out because it was the glasses chick in 3. So yeah that kind of crossover stuff would do it for me as long as the gameplay is still halfway decent.

Lol, seriously? How'd you not know that one of the three games announced were Persona 5, but did know the fact that 3 games were announced.

I don't even know when it was announced. I was watching the stream though. They announced the 3DS game, new fighting game, and the dancing one. As I started to believe that was all they were going to announce, I turned my pc off.

Ah, I see what happened. By 3 games, we meant Q, 4D and 5. A2 was disregarded since it was already formally announced a while ago.

I'm disappointed that this doesn't have any characters from persona 1 and 2 those 2 games where just forgotten about and I'm hoping Labrys appears in this game, I really liked her in arena

With all due respect but to me it seems like the combat system looks worse than P3P, bringing the non-appearance of Persona in their respective attacks to attention. All we see is an image cut-out.

Persona + Etrian Odyssey is a win in my book.

For now, I'm cool with the Persona 4 Arena sequel. I pretty sure it's called something like Persona 4: Ultimate Suplex Hold or something.

Game will be released this year in the Fall alongside the Fighting one. Persona 5 will be released in 2015, sadly.
