A next Metal Gear is...

Ah, Konami, you tease us so. This just sprang up on the Kojima Productions site this morning, it’s a flash landing page with nothing but the Konami logo and the image above. Is the green a reference to the 360? Are the exclamation marks a reference to the Wii, or Ac!d, or the DSi? Is that a PC power button? Whichever, we have a sinking feeling this isn’t a PS3 game…

Either way, the green light indicates a "Go" for me or a sign of "Power".

So I'm assuming it's safe to say some sort of metal gear game is underway.

If Kojima meant what he said when he announced 4 was the last Metal Gear game he was directing, then I would prefer it that it was also the last Metal Gear game period. It was a perfect(well...not perfect, but pretty damn good) ending to the MGS saga, so I feel there isnt a need to start beating a dead horse. Now if they feel like churning out a few more of those shitty Ac!d games, then be my guest. But leave the canonized series to die in peace.

Kojima has been saying Metal Gear Solid 1 (on PS) was is last Metal Gear game. Kojima has numerous times said he felt dissapointed in the turn out of MGS4, not sell wise, but how the PS3 (and even the 360) we're too weak of what they wanted to produce.
