Aliens Vs. Predator

I'm looking forward to this game.

Is it just a straight shoot/slash or is there a level up and customable character system?

Got the game today.
It's fucking insane. Actually a lot better than I expected.
I've yet to play online matches or Survivor mode, but I will soon.

I played the game for about an hour to begin with and I'm only 6% through one campaign.
So it looks like it'll have some length to it too.

So, anyone else read Ben Reeves review on the Game Informer website? If so, are you as pissed off as Angry Joe?

I'll never read a review on a game or a movie.
It's just their opinion most of the time and it's usually not similar to mine.
For example: Eat Lead is my favorite 360 game and yet it got horrible reviews.
So fuck them and their opinions. Most of the time it's just complaints about how the game isn't good enough to compare to it's hype. Which none are since hype is created to make someone think the game is flawless so they'll buy it.
Either that or it's complaining about the gore or nudity. And really, they need to get over that. If you're able to play video games you're old enough to see a pair of tits and some alien gush.

Professional game reviewers also say that Pokemon is bland and boring...

I Started playing it yesterday it's fun. I dislike being alone threw out the game, but it's still good.

I'm finding Alien on normal is a little hard if I get shot at I'm basicly dead with in 2 seconds and the transition is a bit glitchy some times, but of all the campains it's the easiest.

I'm finding Predator on normal is easy if your fighting marines, but fighting aliens is really hard it's easier to kill aliens as a marine than it is as a predator which is kind of wierd since predators are ment to be master hunters.

I'm finding Marines on normal is kind of hard it is as hard as halo on legendary. I'm still yet to fight a predator yet. I think the flamethrower is useless when I'm being attacked by a hord having a flaming explosive thing grabing you isn't helpfull.

Did any one get a comic with there Hunter Edition becuase I didn't but some have said that it came with a comic?

Flamethrower: most useless weapon ever! used it once and never again. You're better of with your pistol.

Comic only came with the limited version which was like $99. If yours didn't come with one then you got screwed.

I also agree on the dificulty. But that's what makes it more real. If you watch AvP you'll understand. The Predators bred the Aliens for the hunt because their the most dangerous kill the Predators can get.

Was the comic only in america? because I live in the uk and I bought it from a uk store.

& when I see the picture that sites have that show what it comes with there isn't a comic on display.

I also think they shouldn't be aloud to say that the game comes with some thing if you have to download it in the end they should mention that it's a code. That pissed me off with the ME2 too because I don't have live to download stuff.

Not sure if it was only America. But it's possible.
Most of the time all the extra stuff is downloads.
Especially pre-order stuff. The only pre-order that I know of that wasn't downloaded is the one from Darksiders.

Unless you're talking about something other than the skins. I didn't get the hunter's edition and I didn't look too much into it.

I'm on about the maps with AvP & weapons and armor with ME2 they say it comes with the game yet don't mention that it's a code they should put it on a disc.

Though I will probally never get to play multiplayer on AvP since it has online only which kind of sucks

Most come on downloads because the developers just kinda assume that most of the costumers that purchase the game will have XBL. Some come on discs. Like Assassin's Creed 2. But I know what you mean. That sucks big time.

Right now I'm trying the Nightmare difficulty. I just died at the very last enemy of the level (playing Alien). got insta-killed when I was busy smacking a lone marine. how he even was able to get a shot at me still remains unclear.

Has anyone played Predator campaign yet? I just started it and HOLY FUCKING SHIT COCK!

Seriously. Predator's have like a skull-spine fetish. Trophy hunting, I know, but this is overboard.
The gore is insane and I fucking love it. Brings realisim to how the Predators actually are.



Yeah, I tried Marine on Nightmare and turned the game off after I realized I had no chance.
If we're ever faced with an Alien infestation, we're fucked. The only people that have a chance to survive are hardcore gamers. Isn't that sad?

Alien and Predator are do-able for an little more then average gamer.
Marine is only for hardcore gamers. Mainly because the missions are long and you're not able to sneak around like Alien and Predator.
