Volume 1 will be Kanade.

What do you guys want out of it? It seems that they are doing several volumes presumably each one being it's own stand alone route. How should they handle it? What girls do you want to get a route? Should the MC be the same in each route?

I personally want the Kanade route to be the anime is visual novel form.

One thing I do know is that I'm gunna read the shit out of this one.

wow i'm really suprised that there isn't more disccusion about this! I thought I lot of people liked angel beats and other VNs by Key.

For someone that really liked angel beats this is pretty big news.

Well Key's VNs have been lackluster to me and Angel Beats was just terrible near the end, honestly the ending was just poor.

That being said the first portions of the anime were intriguing and the prospect of a detailed Tachibana or Yuri storyline is very attractive.

are the characters the same? or continuation of episode 13.5 from the anime?

Though I enjoyed it, I felt like the anime was a bit shallow. I hope the VN fleshes it out to a reasonable level, making it something that can compare to Little Busters, Clannad, or Rewrite, and not another Planetarian/Kud Wafter . Keeping my fingers crossed.

This. There were so many interesting characters that we never really learn much about. I'm hoping that we eventually see their story.

Angel Beats! First Beat looks pretty promising, they need to get one of the main girls out immediately though like Tachibana or Yuri in this title. If they decide to put different routes in each installment.
