[Locked] Anyone knows how a PS3 (Japan version) works?

Basically, I mean if you can change the language from Japanese to English. I know you need a Japanese version of the PS3 in order to play Japanese titles. But can you change the language to English in the game and such?

PS3's aren't region locked...

You can't change the game content in japanese into english unless there a english section in the game..... or everyone would buy the jap version before the port comes.

Well you're right, but there are a few exceptions. Persona 4 Arena's the only game that I know of that's region locked.

Other than that, most games aren't.

Basically, you're saying I could play a Japanese game on my current PS3?
