I totally wanna buy a Hori VLX or a VX/V3. Those look so good! Especially the Arcana Heart version of the VX.imo the arcana stick looks ugly. i'm in favor of the art and all, but that red box... ick.
a few friends of mine have the VLX. personally I don't see it as being worth the $300 asking price, and it's awkwardly large and would be nothing but a pain to take anywhere. V3 is damn near perfect though. Only issue is figuring out how I'm going to get art on this damn thing without resorting to lami label :(

IIRC Art from Tek-Innovations is working on plexi for it right now, but I wouldn't mind doing lami-label as well.

I don't think I'll ever buy a retail stick ever again. Why? I have a friend who does customs willing to work for dirt cheap :P and I'm not half bad at Photoshop either, so I do my own art.

To each their own, I suppose.
As far as retail sticks, Hori won me back over after buying two TEs. Was getting tired of the plain old HRAP boxes for a while, but the V3s are a welcome change. :)
Though I'd really love to own a VSHG... Maybe one day @_@

The VSHGs look so beautiful! Would like to also get my hands on one of those once I have enough money.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MWE3BI/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A29PHU0KPCGV8SHoping to buy this one for next month when MvC3 comes out. Does anyone have this or is there something I should know about it? I can't really afford a "better/more expensive" one right now.
you should know that it's a cheaply made piece of crap.
essentially when you buy a cheap stick, all you're really doing is shooting yourself in the foot, cause you'll end up with something with a really bad build, or it breaks easily, or a button goes out and you can't do anything. The best you could get if you INSIST on cheaping out would be the Madcatz SE stick, but even then, most people opt to replace the buttons and stick down the line because the parts are unreliable and bad... and end up spending as much, if not more than they would have if they had just bought a better stick from the start.
So really, it's better to just do yourself a favor and not cheap out on it, so you'll have something that lasts and is easier/quicker to fix.
