Atelier Escha and Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky

I almost posted in here yesterday to talk about Atelier Meruru since it's the first of the series I've ever bought and, well, there is no Meruru thread... I've been impressed by it so far, surprisingly. The characters are enjoyable. The moe has been put to good use here unlike some other j-rpg I won't mention. Chances are I will buy esha and logy straight away once it's being localized.

You should have at least played Totori before Meruru. I guess I can understand skipping Rorona but there's really no reason to skip Totori.

Totori is still my favorite alchemist of the Arland trilogy. She's so fucking adorable that it's impossible not to like her. Her and Mimi's yuri relationship is glorious.

And yeah, the characters are one of the best parts of these games. I do trust you're using the JPN voices, right?

Of course, after Xillia, I immediately had to purge my ears from cringy english voice acting. The retailer I went to only had Meruru and it was pretty cheap so I just bought it on a whim. Maybe I should have started with Rorona or Totori but Atelier meruru does a good job introducing all those, HNNNGG hug-worthy characters, so I'm not complaining. When Totori was made available in-game I directly went with an all girls party. Lias is a reliable fighter but Keina is more pleasing to the eye, fuck logic.

Yeah, Keina and her basket lol. I usually use Mimi, Sterk, and sometimes Totori for my main party. Sterk has a really badass special finisher in Meruru. I recommend using it once you get him. He's probably one of my favorite male JRPG characters.

Also, I recommend switching up your party members every so often if you want to get more events. Some events can only be triggered this way. You should definitely play Totori if you enjoy this one though. They're very similar.

Localization for Europe confirmed. The game will have dual audio according to this tweet. I'm 100% sure that we'll get a NA release as well. It wouldn't make any sense if there wasn't one.

As usual, I will remain skeptical. In theory, this is great news but I know all too well that localization companies usually find something to fuck up. I'm still excited but Tecmo Koei Europe/America still hasn't regained any trust. They're in the negative trust zone right now. If they can successfully not fuck this up then they'll move up to the slightly below neutral trust zone.

Though it should be mentioned that dual audio is basically the main thing that they must not fuck up. It looks like this one will have that so my mood is definitely more on the positive side. They just better not post another tweet later saying "lol just kidding fuck u guys".

Well, it has dual audio. So istant buy for me. Though I hope for a collector edtion.

This is great news if they actually follow through with it. It's possible that Escha & Logy may end up being a semi-alright localization. The script will probably be too liberal for my taste but as long as it's not NISA tier then I'll manage.

I need to play at Atelier Ayesha again, i stopped it near the middle...i will just let the days pass and get the bad ending, like taht i will do a new game + with all the good accessory (because i want to got more days available to do all i can in the game).

Finally we can play as a guy, yeah : D

I hope we will got the japaneses voices this time...I HATED Ayesha english voice (but others are good..) and if the remake of atelier rorona come here, i will never play it without jap voices, because i hate rorona english voice...

This game comes out on March 11th in NA and March 7th in Europe. Is anybody else going to be picking this up? I've got this and Dark Souls II pre-ordered for the 11th.

I think I mentioned how I would be getting this, on the only reasons that I recently finished Aeysha and that the anime adaptation begins airing within a month of the games release here in the US. So... I kind of have to get this game and finish it before the anime begins, and yes... I have the same reaction to those horrible English voice acting.
