Unlocking the M-98B is goign to take forever : / 48000 recon score needed
If you're a fairly sneaky player, you could always pick up a PDW or slap an ACOG onto a semiauto rifle to convert it to a decent battle rifle. And, as I've mentioned in my previous post, tag as many enemies as humanly possible. Sure, it's only worth 10 points if your team kills any enemy that you've tagged, but that builds up after a while and is extremely helpful. I'm still waiting for my SOFLAM to become a viable gadget. Thing looks like it'll be useful, but until more people get guided missiles on their vehicles or unlock the javelin, it's going to be rather useless, if not a decent way to keep enemy pilots on their toes.
Well I"ve been using the SKS with a holographic and a grip and lasersight and its goign very well lol its a assault rifle in the right hands lol

48000 isn't a lot when you think about it, 10 tags = 100 points and that doubles if it's a squad member who killed the enemy. Assists as a sniper, even a relatively bad one, are easy to get—a few chest shots or leg shots on a squad of soldiers moving towards a capture point will easily net you around 200 points, it also makes it much easier for your team to defend/attack the objective. If you're good, topping the scores on maps like Wake, Damavand, Caspian and Firestorm should be easy; there are plenty of spots where you can hide and blend in amongst the terrain.

Can this get any better really..
Those close infantry maps (Metro, Grand Bazaar at least) with the USAS-12 loaded with Frag rounds on Hardcore with extended mag. Pretty much anything vanishes in front of you and reloading is a breeze compared to the Dao-12 / M1014.
Then for slightly longer range, AS Val silenced assault rifle. Oddly though the site says it has 30 round mag while it holds 20+1 at most.
I tend to play it a lot during the day and gladly join to the same server if you're on my friends list.

Tanking, flying, helicopter gunning, sniping, building clearing etc etc.. I'm fairly good all-rounder player and support my squad in most situations.

IRNV is retarded and i hate noobs who use it.F2000 and Scar-H are over-powered too.
IRNV scopes are awesome for spotting enemies for your team to see, which is why I commonly use it on maps with poor lighting or lots of foliage. It sucks for precision, so your range and accuracy kinda suffer when you use it. Seems like a fair trade-off to me. So, for players like me who like to help out their team by highlighting any enemy within their line of sight, that's the best tool to use.
And the SCAR-H is nothing compared to the SG553. I swear, that is probably the most unbalanced carbine in the game. It has excellent accuracy, a 31 round capacity, a high rate of fire, and has almost no recoil. It may not deal as much damage per shot as the SCAR, but you'll be landing far more hits with it, and at longer ranges too. However, I think the only thing keeping it from being abused on multi is the fact that it's one of the last guns you uhlock by playing co-op.

Here's little something that might give you a reason to get the Spec Ops camo.

You're lot harder to see with it in IRNV and generally hide better in darker maps.
Especially the US Engineer kit. Only the face gives out a heat reading.. Pity it isn't the same to other kits. Makes it kinda biased.
Nowh.. On to jets. Just unlocked the Beam Scanning which pretty much halves the lock on time on LGM's / Heat seekers. Though I only use the former since the gun is more then enough to get rid of an enemy jet. Not to mention these things do about 80% damage if there locked on target is laser painted with SOFLAM / Laser painter / CITV Station. Without it's good 50% damage so it's instant disable.
At least tanks / Mobile AA get the Reactive armor that allows them to absorb few of those LGM's without taking damage.

Paying another $9.99 for the online pass..is it worth it?If the total cost of buying a used game + Online pass isn't higher than buying a new one, I think it's ok.
But if the cost is higher you're better off buying a new one.

Hmm..used the game would be around $55 + tax + the $9.99 = ~$70
New $59.99 + tax + $9.99 = ~$75
Not much of a difference.
The online pass gave me second thoughts.

The thing is you don't need to buy the online pass with a new copy, it comes with a code. That's what he means. It's their way of trying to encourage people to buy new instead of used.

Is it wrong that most of my kills comes from guns?
I don't know why I can't seem to hit anything with SMG, LMG, shotguns. Rifles excluded since I can get a decent 4-5 kills if the condition is right.

wait...most of your kills come from guns, but you can't hit anything with them...you mean vehicle kills?
Also, my first 10 minutes of this game were spawning on a squaddie and dying five seconds after. Fun times all the time.

Meet guy at Close quarters, hit the trigger button rapidly = his dead, with most of the shots I fire making contact.
SMG, LMG, SG : Meet guy at Close quarters, hit the trigger button moderately = It's Either, I don't damage him at all or I only chipped 20%-40% from his life.
Sniper Rifles/Rifles is excluded from the case. lol

oh i thought this thread was dead since MW3 came out..whewActually, I stopped playing Battlefield when I picked up both Arkham City and Saints Row 3 a few days ago. I'll probably go back to BF3 when I finish up those two games, after all, I still haven't finished Battlefield's campaign.
