ff9 was realy overlooked, a lot of it made its way to ff12 so they are kinda remaking the ff's, but ff7 remade, i duno why youd wana do that.

ff7 was way too long.... and ff10-2 sucked cause to get the best ending really meant you had to buy a strategy guide to get it. although i like xii

how far are you in xii, im a good 30 hours in and it hasnt changed much since the first few hours, the mist ability is like, just randomly mash R2 till another persons ability is rdy, that decides your battle be it a win or loose :s espers are useless and all my characters are wielding axes cause its the only item that allows me to survive. i realy hope im playing this wrong cause cause only the story is whats keepin me goin (balthier is the best!)

I've kinda lost interest in FFXII as well - the ways between the different plotpoints are sooooooooooooooooo long, it's really starting to get on my nerves.
Haven't played in about two weeks now. Oh well, maybe I'll give it another try once I've completed Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil >_>

If you don't have a source, i'd stop posting this stuff, because you're only getting FF fan boys' pants wet.

I was kiiiiinnnnndaaaa referring to your hopes and dreams of an FFVII remake. No source? No Dream. Let it die.

It's that kind of attitude that keeps people lurking.
Success.

personally ive kinda lost interest in new FF games. i played 1,2 and 4-10 but while the gameplay was fun in 9 and 10, the story of 9 just didnt seem to be all there, as soon as it started to get good they just rushed through it in one or 2 important scenes it seemed. 10 was cool but it didnt really get me to give a crap about the chars and their story at all. 10-2 looked really bad to me, 11 was online only which made it of no interest to me and i dont really like the free movement/semi real time system in 12. i guess i just prefer turn based and if theres movement more of a strategic grid based sytem like tactics or koudelka.
i dont think anyone has to worry about an ff7 remake, theyve re-made 1-6 multiple times, and 7 has huge demand. my only fear for it is that theyll dumb it down like crazy just like the other remakes, the rpgs theyve been re-releasing have been stupidly easy and 7 wasnt exactly tough to begin with aside from the desert (ruby?) weapon.
the dragon quest/warrior games seem good, i played the 1st on nes as a kid and recently played 8, both of those were pretty good
