Blazblue: Calamity Trigger

well, there's still a limit to it, since it ends up launching them ever so slightly, so eventually, they will be able to tech the 2D~B

I would use Taokaka as a main, as she's the character I started with, and except for Hazama, she is the coolest character =P But I'm way too lazy to learn her combo's, as those aerial D spams just look so frickin' clusterf**k to me.
BTW, anyone got any good tip for finding "custom combos"? I've only learnt the combos from Challenge Mode, and found a few that works with Ragna. Also, anyone got any idea how to use Hazama other than 3C,214D->C,C->2C,4D->A,4D->D,Cx5,9,Cx5->214B? Sorry if that was a bit too whacked for an explanation =P

It's a forum for Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Here's the Hazama section

just go to the subforum of the character you are looking for, hope that helps..
Anyway, as of now, I just bought the game recently (well, I played Calamity Trigger a lot before) and I'm only using Ragna as of now. However, I'm interested in learning Taokaka and Tsubaki when I get the chance.

Wow, thanks alot! Guess Ima burn some BBCS tomorrow! Ehrm... I mean today...!
Oh, and @Vayne: Tsubaki is really easy to combo with, and I find it pretty easy to come up with custom combos as well. A word of warning though: At least for me, it is very hard to actually land the combos against AI's (never played against others), as most attacks seem to prioritize above Tsubaki's; they always attack right through my own attacks. But as I said, maybe it's just me? =P

Tsubaki in general has bad priority on a lot of moves overall. Her DP is crap and it's hard to get good block-strings. Her combo damage is also pretty weak compared to a lot of the cast, and she has a hard time getting near zoning characters like Arakune, and has a hard time getting out of pressure from rush-down characters like Ragna.
... And yet I still main her. She is a pretty beginner-friendly character as well as my favorite to play, along with Noel.
Check the DL (DL=DustLoop) forums on Tsubaki. Ginseng is the mod and one of the best Tsubaki players here in Nor-Cal, so just ask around about her.

Just played Score Attack with Ragna and came all the way to Hakumen. He won the first round, I won the second, on the third round he got my HP down to around 20%, then I got his down to around 5%... and guess what? He managed to counter me and got all my 20% HP down in one blow. I hate Score Attack <.

I find that score attack (and max difficulty AI) cheat in general. It reads your input and acts before the moves even come up most of the time.
You can test this, by spamming a 3c on whatever char before the round actually starts (e.g. Hakumen's 3c), and the opponent will do an overhead or a something that goes through that attack (or some jump attack).
Kind of lame, but what can you do.

score attack on max difficulty made me a better player with Bang. the only issue i have is that i havent learned how to grab properly because they always escape. other than that Tagar cheats on score attack

It doesn't matter what difficulty you've chosen, it's still always harder than the highest difficulty.
Against Hakumen... you just really have to be careful. Sure, both Guilty Gear (which I've never played btw) and BlazBlue are aggresive games that focuses on offense, but you really just need to watch Hakumen and plan your attacks accordingly. The biggest reason for why I lost against him is because I tried to rush the battle... big mistake ^^

Oh there's an AI flaw too. when your bang and after a daifunka(2363214C), the AI will wont tech forward in the corner. You just just do 623C and 623C until dead.
Source of AI flaw
Also, BBCS2 will be on 3DS too, just like PSP.

Meh a good Hazama player is annoying ,but in my experience with the match up most of them (at least on PSN) like to abuse their snake-self drawing technique which can be fairly easily countered with 6C ,and throw in the fact that you can crawl under just about anything he throws out in shadow stance except that scoop shit(which with a fast enough reflex you can block) I feel the match-up pretty much comes down to not getting baited into his AA's our being a lil bitch and spamming Tao's D (looks at 80% of tao users) the match up requires slower play from the Tao player which for most is awkward to say the least..though just my 2 cents ,and could be completely wrong

well i'm sorry if 5D/2D/4D/28D~4/5/6 is a great and safe approaching move :P not like we have too many safe choices to approach anyway >.> i guess j.C would work too...and slow Tao is really hard to play, since it doesn't work too well...Tao pretty much relies on constantly moving to pressure the opponent. The only way I can see Tao being slow is if baiting throws and things that can be dodged with 3C (which are far too many... I mean Tager's 2C. YES. IT DODGES IT.)

Speaking of Tager, I was using Nu(main) and got this player down to 5-10% and I let my guard down A BIT and he completely thrash me with 2 combo
