Blazblue: Calamity Trigger

Heh, well thanks Vayne. I've learned alot at Dustloop from the Tsubaki community (were a pretty awesome bunch). I've been playing for about 8 months now. But yeah, besides doing alot of self practicing in training mode, the best way to get anywhere with improving is to play other people. Whether it be online or offline at local casuals. You will lose more than you win at first, but that's part of the learning experience. You take what you can from your losses and mistakes and find ways to change or improve upon them.
Getting feedback and critique from solid or better players will also help you too.
@animester: Damn another PS3 player, alright lol. Actually I play pad, I have a fightpad for my 360.
Also I should be abit more specific, when I say everyone received a damage nerf, I mean no one really does the amount of damage they did normally like in CS2. It's not a major difference but yeah. Some characters can definitely still dishout some large damage, but that's due to the changes they received on their moves.

Thats understandable :)
I keep forgetting it's almost Halloween. Thanks for linking me to the full image btw, she looks fantastic :D
Also that's one of the things I really like about BlazBlue, the amount of character development and personality for each one is certainly fantastic. Even though Rachel is my main and favourite, I can still agree that all of the characters in general are very likable and can be great fun to play as :)

I've actually never tried to play Rachel before, even though she's really good. Only other character I'm learning right now is Noel. I dabble with Plat and Makoto a little bit, but I'm nothin' special with either of them.
Blazblue is basically it's on VN, which is awesome. I think I read somewhere before that BB was actually getting it's on own anime

Hajin's Tsubaki is beast, but I learned a lot by losing against him with mirror matches. Started doing more 22D mix-ups and 6A mix-ups more thanks to him.
Still... To be honest, playing his Tsubaki, makes me cry in my corner for the night. :D

I have been meaning to go to Dustloop for quite some time, maybe I'll check it out when I have the chance. University sucks a lot of my time, so I practice some things on CSII on the PSP in those in-between moments. As for offline human players, I'm out of luck on that one. I haven't found a single person that plays this game, they just play mainstream stuff. Thanks for the input.
Oh, and as for how long I have been playing with Tsubaki, I'd say a little more than three months.

Yeah, pretty much anything you need to learn for Tsubaki is in the Tsubaki character forums. You can always ask questions there if you need an answer for anything there as well. My name there is HajinShinobi, just dont mention that you met me here at FAKKU for obvious reasons lol.
I actually do alot of practice on CS2 for PSP as well. Actually I think alot of players do that.

@Sakabato: Just saw your post, thanks, heh. I'm quite sure you'd get better though since you have a fighter's virtue. Have you been playing BB at all recently?
@Koga: Taokaka is a handful to fight against in the right hands. Ragna is quite a silly but strangely even matchup for Tsubaki. Though it's one I still loathe, even though I have a ton of experience in it, however.

Sorry for the late reply, got caught up in things XD
@Hajin Busujima: No worries about the console differences. Happens to everyone at some point :)
It would also be interesting if BB got itself an anime, there's nothing to say it can't. The story works well and is fantastic and talking BBCS2, I should be able to check it out at this MCM expo on saturday, can't wait to play some more as Rachel :)
Tourney was fun, the atmosphere was great and the people just generally nice to talk to. Entered as Rachel thinking I'm going to be knocked out in the first round as I use a controller and was only there to learn a few thing but out of the 16 players I managed to reach a semi finals match and then loose XD Certainly learnt a lot though :)

Going from pad to stick for the very first time is indeed very difficult to adapt at first. I'm a pad warrior myself so I dont touch arcade sticks. Major arcades like Super Arcade do have cabinets or console setups like PS3s and 360s though for pad and stick with and without DLC content.
Also do you play on console at all?

well the only console i do have is my trusty psp,i cant do moves that require much direction pads on the stick.

After a long break from getting any new fighting games added to my PS3 collection, while currently in the process of boosting online battles in Arcana Heart 3 and completing Hard Trials in vanilla Street Fighter IV, I finally got Continuum Shift. Anyone who's interested in sparring or teaching me decent combos can send a request, though I know half of the time I will be going after the trophies in this game since Calamity Trigger was my first PS3 platinum, though this one seems harder trophy wise, but I'll still give it a shot!
