Oh, I didn't clarify that. I absolutely hate the CS burst and primer system, so I got a tiny bit of hope for CP. I welcome the burst over time and the crush moves for now.

what you mean you don't like double gold burst for stupid amount of damage or primers that means if you don't have 5 you really don't want to block a lot or going to be on that barrier? (which in my opinion is so garbage compared to push block in other games) I'm sure it sounded good on paper but someone dropped the ball somewhere in working on the guard primers

The main problem with the primer system is the barrier bar, which is supposed to 'manage' it. Practically, only a couple characters have the option to plan their strings out for guardcrushes. I'm a Hakumen player, and the character is pretty much immune to primer taking moves. This leaves the entire barrier bar, even more than for other characters, open to chickenblock my way out of mixup easily. Especially since air throws are generally terrible with the ridiculous teching window. Having a seperate meter for barrier blocking is a big deal that weakens the game's offense (Unless you're Bang, but fuck that guy.), and I would personally like to see it gone - which means the primer system has to change.
Bursts are way too strong of a defensive mechanic as well. The game has too many points where you can burst on reaction to special moves, and they are just ridiculously hard to punish under certain situations. Again, Hakumen is probably the single one character who has to worry the least about bursts overall, because the character is hella dumb in his current form, but some characters won't ever be able to punish a grounded burst as long as they're forced to block it. I'd go as far as to say that the burst system is one of the reasons why certain matchups in the game are ridiculously one-sided. The possibility to sit on two of them at once and not have to think about actually managing them or having to take a risk of throwing them out is a bad design as well, and I find it very agitating actually. If a character like Jin is not able to perform a strong variation of his corner combo because I sit on a burst and he has to worry about me bursting on reaction to his C shoryuken, which he can't even bait or do anything about, and actually punish him for it afterwards it's garbage, don't you think?
Switching bursts to being time-based as well as the guardcrush moves seem like a step in the right direction to me. I don't know the details or how it'll play out, but I just like the fact that they're changing it for now.

I was being sarcastic, but anyho, I don't think that bursts were as busted as you are implying them to be. Honestly it sounds like you don't burst bait, then in that case it's a problem, but for certain characters (carl, lambda, arukune) it is too easy to bait plus you can only burst out of certain things, bursting on lamb's d swords or carl's sis or ANYWHERE in curse bugs is very risky and can leave you open. For brokenmen, you can parry punish bursts and even slash them for a bubble leaving you save and them to be hit for a counter. Burst compared to combo breakers of MK9 or mega crush from tasunoko v capcom, they are quite garbage, plus your giving up half of you primers for it meaning if your on defense again it won't be for long. The burst aren't really so bad, considering you get one per round, and even still not sure if it is a good thing to use first round because if you win you go into the next without a burst. In higher level play, burst honestly becomes a liability.
But yea in short I'm glad the set number of burst are gone, since I'm use to it, but they aren't all that. As always this is in my opinion, take it or leave it

Was it from a gameplay point of view or story? Because she really was just a tone down rework of V-13, who's already been confirmed.

Gameplay view and well I jumped into BlazBlue from CSE so I only know a bit about the story from the previous BlazBlues so yeah in my case I havent played Nu.

Also, the game already released on arcades in Japan, but Nu-13, Mu-12 and Izayoi aren't still in the game, they're going to get added to the game on the following dates:
Nu-13 on November 28
Mu-12 on December 5
And Izayoi on December 12

I wouldn't mind if the PS3 version comes first, as long as there is a 360 port xP
Either way even if I had a PS3, I would still need to get it imported, as videogame stores here never help at all when it comes down to obscure series (BlazBlue is obscure here in Mexico (and Guilty Gear even moreso), unfortunately)
