I have multiple characters. All but my main solo are Sirens and Mechromancers. My main solo is Axton the soldier. Played the game for a ridiculous amount of time...never beat it because I keep changing characters.
Also I only use elemental weapons. Maliwan ftw. Just wish they made shotguns.

Had an awesome time in my least favorite map (The Dust) today. If you go back behind Ellie's garage and keep going you can find a path that will lead you to a couple of building with Bandits and Spiderants. I don't know if she's there every time or what but a mini-boss spiderant called The Black Queen was there and her special ability is reflecting everything back at you with her "fore-shell" like a Pwr Loader. In the process of fighting her I released a Goliath who managed to get all the way up to Fatal God-liath (if you haven't let one of them get there you should because they almost always drop purple loot) and just ended up having a grand old time between the two of them.

I found the game a tad more difficult then it should be primary at certain unbalanced points
Playing with others only ramps up the frustration
Overall a great game that packs a shit load of content so much so you don't need to rely on DLC to fill those gaps unlike the first game and gives you motive to play as more then 1 class
I give it 5 out 5 cause your getting an actual full game experience with a decent story that is engaging

I know exactly what you mean about the difficulty bro the best way to counter act that is with shield skills like with Axton my shield delay is good enough so that with most shields I have almost instant reload.

I don't know how I feel about the mechromancer class yet, Mostly because I can't really utilize the entire right side of her skill tree (The one with the Anarchy), Sounds like too much debuffs to actually make it worth it

Just a quick word for PC players about the gun you get from Moxxi when you tip her continuously. I don't know if Gearbox made any changes to the PC version of the game to compensate for anyone who wasn't playing with a controller but when you get the gun part of the joke is that your controller vibrates for a while when you equip it with varying frequencies, it's really quite the laugher.

I got the season pass and downloaded the new DLC. Anybody got any thoughts on this Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty.

The new DLC was actually pretty good. It added 4-5 new maps, a story missions that you progress in chapters just like the vanilla game, a whole bunch of new side quests (one being a new hard-to-kill enemy called Hyperion the Invincible) and loads of new enemies. I spent well over 4 hours doing all available missions and backtracking.
One thing that I didn't like about it however is that it isn't as polished as the rest of the game. There are a lot of invisible walls and some areas have invisible ground that you walk on that make it feel weird. I would have liked to see a few improvements to the AI on the new enemies, but they are the same old enemies you've already faced just with a different skin.
Overall this DLC is worth the 10 dollars or 30 minute download you'll spend on it as it adds to the overall enjoyment of the game giving you a break from doing the same old quests. The very first place you visit called Oasis gave me quite a few laughs with it's many definitely alive and not dead from dehydration residents.

Just bought Borderlands 2 and forked over an extra 20 bucks for the current dlc. I'm impressed the game is witty and a hell of a lot more fun then Borderlands 1. Currently level 22 Mechromancer (just like everybody else lol) Anybody know any good spots to level up?

Anybody know any good spots to level up?There are two places that I used to catch up on levels. Since you're only level 22 I don't want to spoil anything so I'll deliberately be vague.
First place is before a boss where you have to kill turrets in order to get air support. If you don't destroy the turrets, there will be robots spawning continuously and you can grind out the experience points. There are also shops in the lower area which you can use to get more ammo without having to leave the map.
Second place is just before the last boss. It is in the same room, just before you drop down.If you stay above the drop you'll have access the shop to restock on ammo. What you do is use a long ranged weapon to shoot the flying things. They infinitely re-spawn as well so if you take your time, you'll get to level 30+.

So yesterday I went and decided to farm Old Slappy for the Striker Legendary shotgun. So I throw on my Vault Hunter's relic and get to farming. I kid you not I spent 10+ hours farming this guy not stopping until 5:04 this morning and still didn't get it. On another note I was using my level 26 Zero with his B0re skill and have no problem killing him in a literal 2 seconds when he lines up his tentacles right.
Edit:I went back to farm Old Slappy twice and got the gun. It's a shotgun called the Striker with my Zer0
Edit 2: Went back with my bro and got two Strikers in quick succession for my Axton

Questions :
- Where can you get The Bee?
- I also heard that there's a weapon called The Mantis. Where can I farm it?
Currently on lvl 45. I've been farming lvls on True Vault Hunter Mode.

You're going to need to team up with some friends that're at level 50. The Bee is dropped by Terramorphous The Invincible. As is the Conference Call and an assortment of Terramorphous named shields, guns, grenades, and class mods.
