Oh I try sniping on all the maps, well except maybe Nuketown.

No, I mean I just want a map that is sort of designed for sniping in mind. Something similar to Wasteland. Open fields, tall grass. Nothing but creeping around, trying to be quiet and making sure you have Ghost Pro on. XD

Try using a variable scope, or ACOG if you're feeling crazy. Believe it or not, that map is actually a really good place to rack up some sniper kills. You just gotta watch out for knifers, is all.

I'm not that skilled at run-and-gun sniping yet, but I'm trying to get to the point where I feel comfortable enough to do that.

Wouldn't use the L96A1 though. I don't like the SUSAT scope on that gun. It isn't bad stationary, but I find it extremely awkward while moving.

It's horrible trying to unlock that. There's never a sentry gun on any match I play...

the standard advice is to have sentry gun as your kill streak and give it to the enemy team,let them set it up and you can knife it lol

Yeah, I suppose that is fair to say. I managed to get lucky once and took out an enemy sentry gun that happened to be near my position when I spawned in a match.

I rarely use it anyway, to be honest. Most of the time when I'm using my sniper class I use Scavenger Pro so I can have more ammo since I'm not a terribly great shot when I'm run-and-gunning.

What kill streaks do you have set up. I love to piss everyone off and I have:

SAM Turret

Care Package ( Hardline Pro is tits )
