Camper's.

It depends on the game
Halo: campers usually get grenaded to hell
MW2: Noob tube with one man army
Black Ops: I fucking love the RC car, also I use hardline so I get it after 2 kills

I should mention that only fps game that I play somewhat often is halo and i don't have cod of any other games. mainly because one shot one kill aspect of cod turns me off. It feels somewhat challenging on halo to kill people with.
Advanced campers tend to switch up their camping spot to repeatedly kill people. XD

camping is how one survives in real life. You can't expect to run out into the middle of a gunfight and always emerge victorious. Also, lrn2use grenades/explosives.

Camping IRL will get you killed by mortar fire, a grenade, a coordinated enemy flank, or any other matter of unpleasentness that'll violently shorten your lifespan. You survive in a combat situation by constantly, and discretely, changing your location so that the enemy never knows your exact position. And the enemy knowing where to find you is the LAST thing you want in a war as there are numerous ways to kill people holed up in a building, bunker, foxhole, or whathaveyou. If you camp IRL, all you're doing is taking one or more people out with you before your inevitable death.

Advanced campers tend to switch up their camping spot to repeatedly kill people. XD My style of camping in a nut shell. 1 or 2 kills (depending on how many is there at the time), move and watch former spot to kill them again...rinse and repeat. The other type of camping I do is long distance camping. I mainly play BF BC2. I use bullet drop to full advantage and kill from half a map away.

I believe what you're describing in BF BC2 is traditional long-range sniping. Something quite different from the typical sharpshooting you see in COD, as you're a LOT further away and use actual skill to get your kills.

dunno why anyone posted this. but in teh great words of red vs blue.

I don't like camping, but I do hate spawn campers and I kill them with extreme prejudice, then teabag their noob corpses

Campers might get you the first time, but then if they keep doing it you should be able to figure out were there basically going to be every time
If anyone's ever players warcraft I found it funny when players would camp on top of wintergrasp, when you would go and buy at the.. boom your ass just got incinerated

Camping for me depends on the enemies firepower, whether I get outnumbered or I know that I simply can't win without me somehow having an upper hand. Camping is definitely a part of the game. Not all battles are won with just brute force. You won't see me running towards a tank without a plan. It's an underhanded tactic but it's also a key ingredient for victory.

The only kind of camping that bothers me are people that camp in corners with no reason. Camping choking points is a solid strategy, regardless of whether or not someone thinks it is honorable. Corner camping is just dickless to me. Nothing annoys me more than someone hiding in a corner, in the shadows, ready to knife the first person they see. I'll admit, usually whey I see someone doing that I "rage" quit. I don't care about rage quitting, if I'm not having fun I'm not playing; and those people make the game unenjoyable.
Haha I get great satisfaction in dislodging campers. Especially when you can blow up cover like in Bad Company 2 just put an RPG into the wall next to the camper.
Edit: With campers in CoD:BO I find it's easier to dislodge a camper in HC mode due to how powerful the weapons are and the fact that hardly anyone uses Flak Jacket.

I don't typically have trouble getting rid of campers once I have my mind on the thought. Unfortunately, I have to admit I'm one of those idiots who just throws himself in front of campers at times. Sometimes I am so single-minded I just keep running in there try to dislodge them with brute force rather than grenading or tubing them from a distance.
Frag + Stun usually works wonders. I should know. I still have a slight habit of it, but I used to be a really profound camp sniper. Nothing irked me more than a grenade indicator, I get up and then suddenly I'm stunned and I can't run away fast enou- BOOM! Asshole... asshole for knowing what (s)he was doing. XD

Ahh the quaint old days before devs put their penises into the server. :(
These days its just retarded to fight in goblin towns unless u don't mind dying for each single kill you make.
If you're creative you chain few kills then die. xD

Most tank drivers/gunners don't know what to do about someone running at them at close range. I just run up, throw C4, and hope I run back fast enough to avoid them developing a shred of intelligence enough to think to run me over; or sometimes catch myself in my own blast. >.>

Don't the tanks shred you to pieces with a minigun they carry around as punishment for running up to them in front?

Only if someone is actually manning the minigun, which is never.

Co-axle machinegun works wonders on people who charge a tank.

So fakku, how do you deal with the anger of a camper(s) in your game?Camper's is the main reason why i quit playing COD:BO.When ever i play with a camper and that person goes 30-0 from camping a corner i go on RAGE! i just want to break my controller or throw it at the TV with anger.
Killzone 3 is every campers wet dream. If you are a sniper then you have the ability to turn invincible which is really useful in dark buildings. That shit just pisses me off.especially when they camp with automatic weapons,i want to punch somebody.
that's why you have the Tactician class. you can see through walls and find infiltrators and snipers by marking them with a blue circle that is VERY hard to miss
