Can you play VNs on Windows 8?

So I had quite a pause of playing VNs but am trying to play some again like Tsukihime, Muv Luv and so on and I'm asking myself if win8 can play them because i have read on some sites that win8 cant read them so I am asking you guys can it play VNs or not?

That is Muv-luv... hm i played it on win8 too but didnt got any crashed :/ but not on sumika but on meiya...
k try this file and put it in the vmreg folder and start Unlimited by loading the save.

thx but its just a savefile and I suggest it is after events at the amusement park? could you tell me what happened during the amusement park scene?

By the time you have read this, maybe you have been playing some VNs already, so the answer is yes. Though some VNs, especially translated ones require some processes that would require you to do something usually before you'd be able to play (like setting system locale to Japanese or installing patches for translated ones). Advice if you reach these problems, just ask. Remember the internet is your friend :)

I actually never had a problem installing and running/playing my VNs. Either I got some programming intelligence in me or that I haven't gotten enough VNs to reach that those dead ends (19 VNs, still, that number is small compared to all of the VNs out there)
