I'm fully agree with you, the Nagisa's After Story is better than the other Episode.

Clannad, it'll force you to cry no matter what. It's good at it.

Nah only major scenes make you cry.Like for Ushio for instance.What clannad will make you do is LOL,ROFL,LMAO w/ Tomoya and Sunohara combi XD,More so if Tomoyo was in the mix.

well for me i can relate to Nagisa more than any other of the characters personality wise but my parents were not like hers.I don't get the whole Tomoyo thing either i mean if anything i could see her more paired up with Sunohara but Tomoya wow i don't know how that even happened man...

There really wasn't any character i could really see Tomoya with truly,i don't know. Most of the girls were appealing enough but as a couple it's biased by personal preference to me.

Being Biased is so over rated now.This is freedom of expression!Viva la Tomoya & Tomoyo xD.Only gimps are biased on opinion now.

I'm just working on my first playthrough, (late, I know), and I'm going with Kotomi's route first, of course. :)

I liked Kotomi the most out of all the girls. She is one of the few

(not spoiler if you've seen the first season of Clannad)

I love the Tomoyo and Tomoya pairing.
I hope they can finish the translated patch for their story Tomoyo After

Nagisa: Too naïve, not too big on airheads. Kinda bugged me she was the main girl, but oh well.
Kotomi: She starts out as a timid girl, then becomes mature. Sorry, but not my preference.
Ryou: Manipulative girls just suck. End of discussion.
Mei: Seems to be a cool person to be around, but not one I'd like to date, personality wise.
Tomoyo: Nice, caring, and always on top of things. The only downfall is that she cares too much about other people when it shouldn't concern her. It isn't bad, but it can get kinda pestering.
Kyou: Very fun to be around, because you can joke with her and she'd play along. She's cute whenever she's embarrassed, and she cares so much for her sister to the point where she gives up her crush for her.

In the end, I think that Tomoyo was pretty close as a runner up, because Kyou is just.. the ideal girlfriend in my eyes. She's not boring, because there's always something new about her, and she has perfect looks, perfect grades (she's class representative of the other class), and a fun personality.

And as for Kyou's ending, I don't want to say I'm unsatisfied about it. It did end on a nice note, and it showed the epilogue after they started dating. However, I would be pretty happy to see a scene where she grows back her long hair after they already started dating. I would REALLY be happy to see a Kyou After. ^^;

But yeah. Clannad. The best (and longest) visual novel I have played to date. It really reflects on life in a strong, touching way. Also, the anime is one of the best novel-to-television adaptions (Even outside of anime) I have ever seen. I find it kinda funny how they left out the yaoi character Kappei, though. They should have left him in, regardless. Eh, whatever.

While Kyou is simply the ideal girlfriend, buddy and all that, I simply can't think of her being able to help Tomoya with his own troubles. Kay, I don't think so, but I can definitely see why people think she's better than Nagisa as friend girlfriend etc. But to me that's exactly why she can't help Tomoya. She can't give him the same sense of family that Nagisa can, she's too fun-oriented to actually look at things from Tomoya's perspective (Tomoya has quite the dark personality) and most important, I just can't see her being as supporting to Tomoya as Nagisa.

Watched the anime all through to the after story, and played the VN. I could say the VN was way better in terms of comedy, since there were funny moments, also the story is much more detailed and I found myself enjoy the VN more.

As for the characters I like Nagisa Furukawa and Kotomi Ichinose, since their routes had the best story.

ok. ok. now i dont want to seem like "That Guy" but where do i buy that VN at? kinda sad. but i loved the anime alot and im willing to give this a shot.
