Mirror Force is semi-limited, meaning it will be limited to 2 copies now. Magic Cylinder will be at 3.

My impressions on this: very good Ban List, too bad that Rabbit is pretty much untouched (well, they DID lose one Tour Guide and one fluffy rabbit, I guess they'll replace the first with Tour Bus and the second with... dunno XP), it will probably be the top deck for the next format. I would've left out Tsukuyomi (not that it can do much, it's a once-per-turn Book of Moon which wastes your Normal Summon) and limited Rabbit to 1, but that's me. Anyway, since I play Dragunity the only complain I have is banned Brionac... but we're in the Xyz era, so they have to kick out the old Synchros to sell the new stuff, bleh.
Also, two Mirror Force is meh, but then again, we have three MST and three Night Beam, so yeah. And Ultimate Offering at one makes me sad (Christ, I have three FOIL Offerings X___x), but that's okay, Xyz spamming is a bad thing as it was Synchro spamming.
On a side note, what do you think about the upcoming Spellbook archetype? Do you think that they'll finally make Spellcasters competitive, or it will be the next useless bunch of shiny cards?

The reason for Brionac being banned is because of the massively new water support that's coming out. Tsukuyomi will be doing A LOT this format for some cards. People will go Night Assailant before they go Tour Bus. Tsukuyomi allows people to reuse cards like Night Assailant, Snowman Eater and etc. Tsukuyomi allows people to get over boss monsters which can potentially force opponents to waste backrow on him. That's nasty pressure. Now I will have to commit to protecting my Shi En and Beast even more.
As for the Prophecy/Spellbooks, I think they are okay at the moment, but I do believe there's some potential for Spellcasters to become competitive.

Then again, using it as a surprise for opp bosses can be a good reason to main it, I'll try it in my Anti-HERO (a bit of an old build that used to do well in OCG before they switched to the 3 Alius/3 Bubbleman/1 Stratos/tons of Spells and Traps).

Nobody likes dealing with Snowman Eater, nobody.

I just read the first yugioh duelist manga and my head nearly exploded.
Yugi uses makyu the magical mist and it sprays mist causing weevils bug to become wet, making it take more damage from summoned skulls lightning attack because now its all wet.
i'm pretty sure the only card that did the exact same thing it does in real life was mirror force, but even that somehow did damage to weevil.

So sad to see this thread dead. We should have another tourney.
Anyway, while browsing an Italian forum about this card game I found this link, downloaded the stuff offered and found out that this is pretty much a better version of Dueling Network, which instead of working through your internet browser acts as a program on your pc (sorry if I explained it wrong :V). This was a godsend for me, since I couldn't play DN anymore (for some reasons, on my PC Adobe Flashplayer crashes at random, especially with DN).
If any of you are still playing, here's a new way to do so. Just register (you'll be asked only a username and password) and duel to your heart's content.

Well I'm probably a really active duelist in RL but never entered a tournament here and I usually don't have problems with DN. If we ever did have another tournament I guess I could take my time to enter maybe.
