Code 18

This isn't exactly the latest news for people in the loop, but I haven't seen a thread for it yet, so why not make it? I mean, this is the reason why Ever 17 is getting an X360 remake after all this time.

The latest installment of the Infinity series, after Never 7, Ever 17, Remember 11, and 12Riven comes a new game from CyberFront, currently code named "Code 18". We don't really know much about it except it's coming for the XBOX 360 and is going to be released some time in 2011.

I'm a huge fan of the Infinity series, and Ever 17 is my favourite visual novel of all time. I don't intend to buy a 360 though so all I can do is pray for a PC version...

While words cannot express the degree to which I am hyped up for this game (as well as the Ever17 remake), I can't help but hope they port it to the PC. Mainly because I like having all my VNs in one place (and I can carry around a laptop).

It's going to get ported anyway. Much like the PSP version of Chaos;Head Noah, and Love Chu2.

and mostly all other Infinity series got ported to the PSP. So, ports are not impossible, it's just that which ports are the real question.

The art style is really different to other games in the Infinity series. o.o

Assuming VNDB is correct, all Infinity games (with the exception of the original) started out on console then were ported to PC.

Fingers crossed for English release? Or is that too much to hope for?

Also, I should really play Ever17 sometime soon. Like, really soon.

Can't say im pleased with those designs, but whatever, it's the story that counts.
