I hope the PC version is released within a week of console release. (I can't help but be spoiled!)

I think the release date for PC is March 13th, and March 11th for North American consoles (14th for European).

I don't think there will be any massive lore spoilers within the first 2 days - and there won't be any game changing tricks or strategies within 2 days either.
so overall, I think you're all good.

well lore can be spoiled, some people can get the game early and ruin things for everyone else if they have the time to play through it before it gets released

I heard it was going to be released 2 weeks after console release from a reddit user. I seriously can't wait, just hoping that its optimized properly for PC gaming, and none of that blighttown lag bs.

It gets released on the same day as Titanfall, which I think is gonna hurt its sales, even if only by a slight margin since the target audience is completely different (and that it's a ps3/xbox game and not an xbone/pc game). That I think kind of sucks.

I would've reserved the PC edition if they had an option to, since the main reason I reserved it was for the collectors edition. So if anyone is going to get the PS3 version my PSN is yummines. Time to dust off the PS3 again.

Will be getting the PC version this time. I expect to do nothing less than what I did in DS on my PS3: walking people through the final bosses. I remember how easy Seath was and how annoying newbies were when they wouldn't just let me solo him instead of dying the same way every fucking time. Shit, I don't even want to remember Kalameet; there's something about him that makes others desperate to die. I want to see more bosses like Kalameet, though, since few things give me a shit eating grin the way games with better dragon combat than skyrim do.

We can assume withing a month or two of the console release.

I seriously can't wait until March 11th. I've been craving this game for months now. I watched some of Vaati's videos and it's making the wait even harder to endure.

The pc edition does not come with the figure of the "main" character though, which I think is a bit disappointing.

either way I'm getting the PS3 version, so I don't have to wait a whole month just to play it. not to mention while they are saying it was built to be intended for pc instead of a shoddy port, it likely still will have some pc related issues that need ironing out. if anything i can just get the pc version when its on sale on steam if i ever feel the need to play the game with mods.

Why, because they fucked the release for the first game? This isn't Infinity Ward; I doubt From Software will let themselves be embarrassed by a modder twice.
