Dead Space 4 maybe Dead for good?

That is right, Dead Space maybe cancelled. A employee of Visceral Games had spoken out said "That there are hardly no one in there working on the game" plus since the third game had a lot of judging.

I would hate to see Dead Space end, but I would hate it even more than it continuing into a pile shit. What is your thought, Let it die or Thrive on Dead Space?

As much as I didn't like DS3 as a part of the entire DS franchise, leaving like this is simply sad, and I hope it doesn't end up this way. ESPECIALLY, the way DS3 ended the way it did. The problem was the approach to the game was far too broad it ended up removing the "Survival Horror" element to the game making it strictly "action".

I didn't have much issue with the craft table other than how limited the weapons truly are, and the unresponsiveness of using your top half of the gun and wanting to quickly use the bottom half only for it to not work because the delay required to shoot from one part to another is too long(Which can be fixed with the addition of improved fire rate type additions which simply is a waste to improve functionality).

All in all, as a dead space franchise, I'm really disappointed with 3, but I'm still eager to see how it all goes down in the end, which at this rate none of us will get to see. If they do proceed to a DS4, hopefully they bring it back to its roots.

Dead Space 3 was essentially Resident Evil 6. it completely went against the main appeal of the game (survival horror) just so it could appeal to a bigger audience. it might be a decent game on its own merits, but it's not a Dead Space game. the only reason they can even consider it to be one is because of the design of the player character's armor and helmet.

i think it should just die quietly before it becomes another Call of Duty.

Next time, look through everywhere properly before making threads left and right.

I'd like it to die. Games shouldn't have the same title with a new (or different) number/subtitle after it more than once.

I honestly felt as if I wasted my money with DS3.

Sometimes games are better left as trilogies, and adding more would ruin the overall experience, but by all means if there is enough content to make a whole fleshed out game then do it, but otherwise its just disappointing for the player.

OT: EA should be the one dying, not Deadspace.
As boring as the first one was(story) the atmosphere and the gameplay made it fun.

I'm sick of seeing publishers forcing studios to make their games more accessible. They don't realize this usually destroys franchises and turns away loyal customers in exchange for a group who more than likely won't buy their product.

I agree. EA is probably the most money hungry puplisher there is, so if Dead space 3 sold well enough, (which I think it did) we'll see another sequel. Most likely forced and, somehow, more action packed.

I couldn't even be bothered with DS3 after DS2, this coming from a guy who has Dead Space sitting firmly in his favorites. It just lost its atmosphere after the first, and when I heard about universal ammo in 3, I just knew.
