Platinum games has a history for developing pretty fun, over the top action games. Just look at Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Anarchy Reigns for reference. For a hack and slash game like Revengence, it seemed that Platinum wouldn't have too much trouble. I have the same feeling with High Moon Studios and the Deadpool game. The "Cybertron" Transformers games from High Moon were awesome, so High Moon has established themselves as capable developers in my mind. I'm certain that if they aren't rushed and work closely enough with Marvel, then the Deadpool game should turn out great. Though, that's just me being optimistic. That whole Gearbox/Aliens: Colonial Marines debacle has left me cautious with recent game purchases.Horrible story behind Gearbox's Aliens, however, that was mostly kept in the shadows. It wasn't like Duke Nukem Forever where we KNEW and HEARD that 3D Realms is gone, the IP was being sold, etc.

I just might get this just for the lol and weirdness factor, I'm just hoping it would be a fun game (like Lollipop Chainsaw level-fun filled with black humor, but with better controls and game functions).

Oh hey, that is a lot closer then I thought! I thought it was gonna release sometime 4Q this year.
I'm probably gonna pick this game up, the humor it looks funny, gameplay seems solid, and 4th wall breaking is awesome if done right.

Honestly, there's not much more to say other than "it's simply opinion". That's what I meant by only to him. Personally, he finds the humour stale. Personally, I find it so goddamn hilarious, I almost died.
Of course, this is just from some of the clips I've seen. I've yet to try the game out for myself, but I did enjoy how Fall of Cybertron played, so I have faith that High Moon made at least a pretty fun game.
