i hope they dont add no achivment which envolves playing the game for 15 hours straight like in the first dead rising i am at 960 gamerpoints with it but that infinite mode shit i cant get the last 40 i need basicly to get them both i need to survive one week without dying one day is 2 hours so there are 7 days in a week so that is 14 . 16 hours to get the gamerpoints including loading time

Yeah I know but according to the producers and stuff they cut that crap out! And maybe there might be just a free mode to kill zombies at will!!! No decreasing health whatsoever!!!

the game looks amazing and i cant wait to get it. it might not be on the release date but im def getting the sequel to one of the best survival games ever(not just my opinion but actual fact). they even already announced Case West which is a dlc where u can partner up with frank and find out what hes been up too. it will be a epilogue so beat the game before u play this dlc but its should be very promising. i cant wait to see how it all plays out XD n im hoping for a movie cuz that would be sick

Gurgghh want this game, but huge lack of money, sad times.

Although I'm a bit put off about the time limit aspect, I like to have moments in games where I just run around fucking about and exploring, DR2 seems to pressure you away from that a bit.

Or maybe I'm wrong, I'm actually confused bout the time limit thing, wait till I get my hands on the game I guess.

Chuck's wife/girlfriend gave birth to Katey when Chuck was 20 years old!!

After the Willamette incident was uncovered zombies started being used as a form of entertainment such as TIR (Terror is Reality) A reality show in which it's contestants are paid to kill zombies. TIR has been hosted 17 times!!!!!
Another example is the Zombie zoo in Fortune City which not only hosts human zombies but all sort of animals in their zombified versions!!!

Is this game any good? Seems to me like all you do is just run around and kill zombies. Sounds awesome, but seems like it'd get boring after a while.

It was released about 3 days ago over here, so ive had few plays of it.
It involves a much more defined story progression and a constant timer onscreen so you dont have to keep checking your watch, which is a nice feature.
Yep, you have to search for zombrex, and you can buy it from pawn shops if you get really desperate for it.
There is a weapon creation system where you take two items and combine them into new ones that give you double experience and are far better off to use. You unlock new creations by killing zombies, saving people or comepleteing objectives. Although, some seem sort of pointless, like a bucket with drills in it which you shove on peoples heads. It only works one at a time and once its done you have to go over and pick it up again through the horde of zombies you have left. The weapon on the front cover is so unnecicary too lol (2 chainsaws attached to a boat oak with duct tape).
There is no achievement for marathon sessions from what I can tell, just standard ones for killing so many zombies, making all the different modified weapons, giving katey gifts etc, most pretty managable.
Overall its been pretty fun so far, though im sick of most weapons breaking after about 4 hits. Grabbing modified weapons that last about 20 is absolutely essential, and make sure you always have some food on you or your complete zombie food :P and go to the toilets often to save...

That was a tough fight, especially since I wasn't expecting it because I was just passing through to get to Palisades Mall to get weapons. Luckily I was in coop, even then my partner and I were knocked out a couple times each. I would have died if we were not reviving each other with beer from the nearby bar.

Also, glad to see some good looking chicks again in Dead Rising. The reporter is hot, and the twins... the TWINS! Hentai of them, I needs it.

I am soo getting this game when I get paid on Friday.
