Defense of the Ancients 2

Yup, Valve has announced a sequel to the most popular mod of w3: DotA.

The gameplay will remain untouched, they'll keep all the heroes from the first episode. Obviously, there will be significant improvements regarding the graphics and new online features will be implemented such as IG voice chat.

well so far they dont look that appealing lol.

I do hope they take a leaf out of LoL's book though,which is to have passive skills that can be toggled into active skills.It added more dimension and strategy.

Well, it is made by Valve, and they have been known for their legendary multi-player games, so I'm still looking forward to this regardless of how bitter I am about what DotA did to Wacraft III.

By the way, defense is spelled with an s and not a c.

It feels like this new DotA will just become one in the crowd now that we have original DotA, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and shit.

Hopefully Valve pulls off a good one here, artwork looks very cool and I look forward to trying it out.

If this is for real, it's gonna be fuck awesome.

So does this mean that it'll have no connection to Warcraft anymore?

It looks interesting but it'll need to be really good to get me away from LoL (addict)

I really like the leaked screenshots. They give a darker and more serious art style to the game. I want DotA2 to be a different experience than LoL and play both.

What can I say, I going to play this since it seems the gameplay is the same. Always liked DotA's gameplay and always will.
