Devil May Cry 4

Okay today I played DMC4 on my friend's PS3, I gotta say it was a whole different experience where I only played DMC3. It was quite an awesome game, I got a kick out of it and can't wait to play it again. I'm pretty sure there's some DMC fans out there, discuss.

I haven't played DMC4 yet but it looks good. I'm actually playing the 1st one right now.

Im gettin DMC4 on friday and i truly cant wait. I got so addicted to DMC3 and 1 (i hated 2) that i even beat that tower in DMC3 (cant remember name cause my ps2 broke.

Played the demo on XBL and found myself playing through it over and over again.
Definatly need to get this game.

Half way done with it now, Nero has some kick ass animations.

i dont want to break your hope but i heard people saying its a bit easy like dmc2. if you hate it because its easy you probably not gonna like this one. If its really easy like DMC2 some people may like it because its for leisure easy combo (some people say it stupid linear combo) but it more friendly to casual gamer than gamer who go all out with super duper crazy manual combo with hard fight that casual gamer wont be able to finish it easily, like in dmc 1 and 3.

o lord i hope they didnt at least take the jump cancel away.

A game that I want, gotta buy a PS3 or Xbox360 first though :(

Seriously i find swordmaster style pretty useful in anyway even in defending tactic battle.

Most people want a shootergame with lots of other online players like halo 3 but I really want DMC 4 fuck what other people are saying

I have DMC4 for Xbox360 and hope to get it for PS3 but i don think so because i have yet to beat it on my Xbox360. over all it is a very fun game. :P

I have played it at my PC but the specs are to high so you might want to upgrade you PC to play this in High Graphics.

This game was pretty good but I only using keyboard while playing which is more compatible to me than joystick.

When you played the game and the "Bloody Castle" is locked...play the difficulty of a "Devil Hunter" and this will test you if you played DMC before ^_^.

Woah, this post is pretty old! Anyways, I guess I this is where is say DMC4 was an awesome game.

However on thing about it bugs me: Nero is a badass character in is own right, with some awesome combos which are simply stunning. Despite this, I felt that Dante, being the pure incarnation of badass-ness, nearly completely overshadowed him in almost every way. It almost seemed like Nero wasn't even needed as
I also kinda disliked the reuse of old levels, which made the game feel a little unfinished.

Anyway, all that aside DMC4 is one of my favorite games of all time.

i feel like a total douche saying this but i'm pretty much a god when it comes to dmc games. i've beaten every mode in dmc2 and dmc 3. i never liked dmc1 that much. the battle style was weird and the controls were different (because i played dmc3 first. i don't own a ps3 or 360 so i can't own dmc4 for now, though i beat the trial version first try at my friends house. the battle style is simple to master and i love his demon arm. the only other part of dmc4 i played was when you had to fight dante as nero. that was a pain because he was using swordmaster with rebellion. awesome game.

Swordmaster > Gunslinger > Trickster > Quicksilver > Royalguard > Doppelganger

I agree with the first set but the styles for me would go:

Trickster > Quicksilver > Swordsmaster > Gunslinger > Royalguard > Doppelganger
