I guess this belongs here?...
I ask because I used to work there and I always wondered... Did more people like us or did more people hate us...

I've never had a problem with them, but some of they're prices are a tad high for my tastes. I'll stick with Game Central.

Not in the slightest. Only time I've ever liked them was for the sole reason that they were the only ones who had the Tales of Vesperia Special Edition available. Special editions, that's about the only time I'll buy something from the scumbags. -_-

Like you for your exclusive game pre-order offers.
Hate you guys so much for your trade-in deals. ripoffShack. Though, if I REALLY wanted to get the best value, I should probably use eBay or something...

I too like Gamestop for there exclusive game pre-order offers like the P4 artbook or gigawatt blades for Infamous. I never sell or trade my games so I got no problem with them.
I hardly ever buy used games. Support the developers who create good games and buy so they can make more good games.

For those who don't know, every dime you spend on a used game goes directly to Gamestop. None of it goes to the developers

I only buy form there if the other store I go to doesn't have what I want. Both stores have taxes, but the best part is that the store I go to has the taxes included in the price of the game(so I buy a new game for $60), while gamestop has the price of the game plus taxes when I buy it(New game would be $65).

I see you have some junk in the trunk. What did they say? I can just imagine it, "Yo, son look at that ass, god damn."

Just so you know, most developers get their money from the publishers. On the other hand, publishers get their money when a store buys a shipment of copies. Good sales just force stores to order more shipments, leading to more money for the publishers. Seriously, some people really like to blow the used-game/no money for developers thing out of proportion.
Anyways I love me some Gamestop (or EB Games where I live). If you know where to look, you can buy some awesome games for less than 15 bucks. Seriously, who buy new games these days especially when they go down in price in less than 6 months?
Only fools pay $70 for a video game.

It was alright, I didn't dislike gamestop. I used to work for them too and I'm sure most of the customers I dealt didn't care one way or another. It was just there, so might as well go to it and see if anything is good there, is the mindset I'm thinking.

I don't hate it, however I usually order games online. If I'm buying used, though, I'll usually hit up Gamestop or Gamecrazy.
