Double Trouble: The Next Gen of Racing Games
0
Okay, so I was thinking of making two threads out of this, but that would have been hogging for threads, so I'll just make one.
This is about a game called Nitronic Rush.
Its a racing game coded in C++ by a team of three, and it features a whole new way of racing. Now you might say "Yeah but we've got Trackmania for that." Well, did you ever race a car that could fly, do controlled back flips, barrel rolls, three sixtys, avoid giant buzzsaws, mines, and explode with an awesome voice saying "DAAAAAAANNNNNG!"?
I thought not.
So yeah that's Nitronic Rush. Awesome game, check it out.
Now let's talk about it's sucessor Distance.
Distance is the little brother of nitrinic Rush, developped by the same team and it has completed its Kickstarter about a week ago. but no worries, you can still Paypal to get the Alpha ticket.
Distance will be the better version of Nitronic Rush. Improved Graphics, smooth racing, impossible tracks, random generation of track just before your eyes.
If you aren't convinced(which you should be but i just want to be sure), here's a video of Distance Pre-Alpha gameplay:
That's all folks, see ya later.

That was AWESOME. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.I do think so myself. Though production has slowed for Distance (the team lead's dad has health problems, family bladibladibla delays bladibladibla empathize) this is going to be one hell of a game.
Glad you share my enthousiam

If its anything like its predecessor, it has a bunch of levels, a decent amount of cars that you have to work hard to get, and if they implement random generation of levels, that is infinite levels.
