DSi

From a homebrew perspective, I'm rather interested in finding out more about the technical specs. Since it comes with Opera built in, that would seem to imply greater internal memory, which was one of the bigger ds/ds lite's limitations on homebrew apps. Plus, the built in SD slot makes the hardware barrier to entry practically non-existent (assuming they don't lock out tons of functionality for it). I'll have to wait and see til more info comes out, but it does look promising. Maybe not first-in-line-to-buy-it promising, but I'll probably get one sometime before the next nintendo handheld comes out.

nothing to really say, just a small upgrade to the ds lite, wouldn't buy if i already had a ds though.

My Psp is pretty old now so Im trying to decide which one of these to get Psp 3K or DSi. I was leaning towards DSi until I learned that they've done away with GBA slot. So Psp 3K it is.

Just something a bit more informative, in case people havent seen it yet ^_^

So I just found out that Nintendo is planning on releasing an upgraded version of the Nintendo DS called the DSi. It has a handful of very cool new features, most likely allowing for homebrew type applications as it has a SD card slot, you will be able to load music and images on it as well, hopefully videos. Other features it will have include larger screens(+.25 inches), built-in internet browser and dual digital cameras(3megapixel). It will be longer than the DSlite, but thinner to make up for that, the stylus will also be lengthened.
Personally, I'm pretty psyched about the whole thing. November 1st release date for Japan at ¥18,900 ($179)...as for America and other territories, all that was said was "2009". I may end up buying one from an online Japanese vendor if they're region free. Just have to bide my time and see...

SD card port? Excellent, I'm planning on buying one now. My current DS is falling apart so I could really use a new one.
It's a shame they're removing the GBA slot though not that I care that much. If I feel like playing Game boy games, I can always use my GBA.

Im sticking with my old DS Lite, that version doesn't give me anything worth buying a new one for.

As I 'just' got myself a Red/Black DS-lite imported from the States, I don't feel the need for a new one. The fact that the GBA slot had to go almost makes it not worth it in my eyes.

Nothing much...if you havent got a DS already, it's worth it...if you already have one, then it's a garbage...I dont understand if there're people who bothers to buy those if they already got an old one...
No Offense though..I just Blab it out from my head...
