DUST 514

any EVE veteran aoughta know what this is. i myself was at fan-fest when they announced it. dust is a fps/mmo one which has a level of interaction with eve that has never been attempted. it is my understanding that actual players in EVE will be able to "hire" dust palyers if they so choose to assist them in planetary interaction and taking over enemy districts once the next expansion comes out. take a look this is the homepage for dust

Looks pretty intense for a PC game, might have to look into it.

that's just it. it aint a pc game. its a console game. which is groundbreaking because theres never been this much interaction between a game like eve mmorpg/pc and dust fps/mmo/console.

I might reactivate my Eve account just for this alone.

its still probable it will be for pc they just ahvent anoucned it yet. and for more detail visit the page i sent and youtube dust 514 and look at CCPs channle for the video from fanfest CCP pressents! there is a bit in there were it goes into a lot of detail about dust.

Personally doubt they'll port it for PC.
But why would you want to be the poor foot soldier who dies on the ground when you can fly spaceships :p

This is gonna be awesome when CCP finally implement planet exploitation in the next EVE Online expansion.

i'm a little disapointed that it's PS3 exclusive.

I find it funny it is. There has been so many PS3 exclusive going multi, now its Ps3 taking something originally for 360

Dust is an exclusive PSN Network game.

PS3 players on ground foot solders.

PC players commanding ships & missions.

*RAAAAAGE* that pisses me of to nooooooo end..... but... i think this is the ONLY thing that will get me to buy a PS3

Download only is a smart move. It's too generic to have sold retail at full price, and this should give it good initial momentum.

My 360-to-PS3 transition will be complete once this title drops.

tis not the end of the world, and its good to know that dust is comeing. its quite a groundbreaker in video-games i think.

a very apropriate and content filled bump. try and tell me thease trailers arent orgasmic. or the possabilitys they bring.

I've been playing a bit of Dust 514 today. I had played it at beta stage and it had looked absolutely terrible so I dropped it. Now the visuals have improved and I honestly had a fun time and will be diving back in for days to come.

Yea the game is really fun. Needs a few more levels unless their is something I am missing. I find that the laser rifle and Gatling gun are op. Other then that this game is really fun.
