Fallout: New Vegas

when its coming out...i'm still playing fallout 3...and all the dlc mission...the last mission left for me is Mothership Zeta...8)

Its like a mini watch that has everything you need.

I was thinking more of Not being a Vault kid, but yea, Pip-Boy, Woohoo! or summin' =P

Doesnt bother me that much since Fallout 3 was my first. Vegas looks interesting.

For me The Pitt and Operation Arphonage are the best DLC. (I have the fallout 3 platinium trophy on the ps3, yeah! xD)

I see interesting the conection with the old games and this new place must be awesome.

The enclave will be here or not? What do you think guys?

Solely because of mods, I liked Oblivion a lot more than Fallout 3, even with how good it was.

Regardless, I still anticipate the release of this. Hardcore mode seems fun but games are boring to me when they try to get too realistic. Hopefully they dont go overboard.

If the Brotherhood of Steel is there then the Enclave will be there

? There are as many mods for Fallout 3 as for Oblivion, or at least a very large number of them.

Besides, at the time, the mods for Fallout 3 werent that great anyway, just some poor looking gun models with a single color/generic armor/etc.

I enjoy Fallout 3, but I still prefer Oblivion over it, even if mods were taken out.

Well, I agree with you, Oblivion is better imo. But there are some damn cool mods for Fallout 3 now, at the Fallout3nexus xD So it's not far away from the tesnexus =P

Caps are the regular money for all the Wasteland i think

Fallout 2 (And I think Fallout 1, correct me if I'm wrong) took place on the west coast and used coins (gold? Can't remember). Could be anything this time around though, especially being in Vegas. They have plenty of real money, but I could see using chips like Hokuto said, or maybe they will stick with caps.

Fallout 3 stole my heart and my sleep, I hope that this one can measure up to the mountain that Fallout 3 created. Not many games have made me want to get every achievement as bad as Fallout 3 did

Now this is what i call *getting closer to failure*.
The whole fallout series was about *someone* from Vault. Not only there is no Vault 13 but now you are some random guy. Well yeah in Fallout 2 you have been playing as some random guy but, at least you were a descendant of Vault 13 main character from F1 ,and F2 had Vault 13 itself. But here we have something absolutely random. Which is in my opinion death sentence for the Fallout series.

But, you never know until you try so i'll probably buy it.....when it gets a discount.

here are some inportant points they clearified

*There WILL be a hardcore mode
*You will be able to attach items to custimize your guns(such as scopes,bigger rounds,etx.)
*Some of the new enimies are Nightkin(super mutants armed with stealth boys)Mutated geckos,and more.
*THERE WILL BE A GRENADE MACHINEGUN
*The screenshots show that there will be more new weapons cause you see the person holding a m4a1(or m16,i cant tell the diffrence),a golf club,AND THE GRENADE MACHINEGUN.
*The hero is from vault 21(he is shown wearing a vault 21 suit.)
*There will be a new Companion wheel so it will be easier to comand your allies(ex:Go fire,go collect items,Heal yourself,Follow me,distract that guy etc.)
*Some of the new locations they mentioned were:Dinky the Dinosaur,THE STRIP,Black Mountain Radio Tower,and Helios One
