Ahhh.. i remember last christmas my cousins and i were partyin at my grampas place, and we brought fatal frame 2 over. i remember them starting it from the beginning, and the part where the ghost just walks right across the window. i think my heart skipped about 5 beats. That moment was priceless. i ran out of the room actually. felt like the ring man, no joke. I didnt know they came out with a fatal frame 3. is it for the ps2 or ps3? is it better than the second one?

pure scare no blood or gore .... is rather a relaxing game to me, toke my own sweet time to finish it, it can't keep my adrenaline pumping like resident evil but still could say is a fairly good game though...

Actually, I only played 1 and 3. So I dunno if it's better or badder than the 3rd one.

The first one is harder, the third can be finished w/o getting killed a single time. But it's a shame you haven't played the second one :"Crimson Butterfly" which is the best among the series, its plot is much more deep and intense than "The Tormented" which is not that scary at all since you can come back and forth between your house and the House of dream making it like a park walking :)

FYI they will release "Fatal Frame IV, known as Zero ~Tsukihami no Kamen~ (Zero ~Mask of the Lunar Eclipse~) for the Wii.The most interesting thing about Fatal Frame IV is that Suda51 is developing it. Responsible for games like 'No More Heroes' and 'Killer 7', it would be a very bizarre yet intriguing game to play given his personal flavour and past.
Fatal Frame 2 is a great survival horror game where you have to stare at the ghosts in their face. While games like Resident Evil are good in that zombie-falling-apart-city way where a zombie dog gives you undead rabies, the Fatal Frame series is based more on Japanese ghosts and folklore.
It's great fun to shoot zombies. If you've played Half Life you'll know what I mean when you launch burning barrels of flammable substances to their heads. However, there's something far more ethereal of Fatal Frame experience, bordering between life and death and its relevance in Japanese shinto beliefs.
I highly recommend those who enjoy pisses themselves scared to play it, although getting it might be a little tricky. If you thought Higurashi's Oyashiro-sama was freaky, then get ready for a trip.

Well then, that leaves me no choice but to buy the 2nd series.^^

well Fatal Frame(1) is the first one so it's a bit scary for me but I enjoy playing horror games... Fatal Frame 2 is a bit scary too but I got frustrated of it's camera system because it's different from Fatal Frame 1 and Fatal Frame 3 is like an all-star Fatal Frame Having Miku(Fatal Frame main character) and Kei, the twin's uncle(Mio and Mayu Fatal Frame 2 main Characters)

I once came across a Rumor that Dreamworks were working on a Fatal Frame Movie. So I started searching and found out that it was about 4-6 years ago that they mentioned this. It said that they already finished the script and that they were looking for a Director. I'm full of hope that this movie wasn't dropped.
Still... 4-6 years and they still have'nt found a Director?! :?

Thats pretty ridiculous  4-5 years just to find a director?! It couldn't be that hard to find a director could it?

I voted "yes", only because of the Crimson Butterfly.
First Fatal Frame sucked.
Third was OK.... but no game in the world can compare to intensiveness and brilliance of Crimson Butterfly. Scaryest game you will ever play.

I caually came back to check on myself and my - rep. Pretty impressive.
Crisis Core thread cought my eye, and I happen to have Loveless play on my computer, so I thought I'd share the greatness of it.
