Fiddlesticks. I've heard a few things about it and desperately wish to play it. But I must yield to the Japanese language an await the English patch.

The first two are pretty sweet-ass still. I'm not sure about anyone else but the truth about Archer was fairly unexpected. Not horribly, if you tried hard enough you could probably figure it out with uncertainties. Although after going through Unlimited Blade Works I wonder how Archer didn't beat Berserker in the Fate route.

Although Gilgamesh totally kicked Berserker's ass in UBW though. If we equate Unlimited Blade Works with Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon, Archer would indeed be the strongest servant in the last Holy Grail War simply because of his ability to create Noble Phantasms at will.

Although let's not forget that Archer's stuff is one grade below Gilgamesh's because it's not the real thing. Archer isn't really that strong; it was stated in UBW that his combat ability comes from all the experience and hardship, and is geared towards defense than offense. Likewise, Gilgamesh is overly strong because of his Noble Phantasms; again, it was stated in UBW that his combat ability is below Saber's, but he can take advantage of his enemies' weaknesses using his Gate of Babylon.

So, while it is stated in UBW that Archer would be Gilgamesh's arch-nemesis, it is not because of his combat ability, but because of his ability to counter Gilgamesh by having no set Noble Phantasm that makes him his nemesis. Likewise, Shirou was only able to fight Gilgamesh because of that; Shirou would never be able to defeat Saber, for example, let alone Berserker.


Although, in Heaven's Feel,

Shirou does kick Berserker's ass by tracing Berserker's very own weapon and using Nine-Slash Blade Works on him, killing him nine times in less than a second.


So I dunno.

Hmm, yes, I meant how he couldn't have beat him down like Gilgamesh. Even if though imitation is one rank lower Archer should've been able to overcome Berserker's God Hand, especially if he used Reality Marble. I base this on that Gilgamesh effortlessly destroyed Berserker by standing in one place. Let's not forget that Archer somehow got back up after taking various Noble Phantasms into his body and then pulling a graceful deus ex machina to save Rin. It just seems like he'd be able to take out Berserker completely.

Unless Archer only had five A rank Noble Phantasms.

And there's one thing I never really got. Why, exactly, did Archer show sympathy towards Saber? I know he was Shirou in the future, but does that mean that the Holy Grail War was a part of Archer's history? And he knew that Shirou would ultimately beat him but he tried anyways? Or did he actually have amnesia? I clearly missed something. :/

Also, how does he keep Ilya's heart alive for so long? Huh. And he said they were in a hurry because of it. Lying bastard, Gilgamesh clearly had the time.

And your second spoiler makes it sound as if Shirou got even stronger in the third route. Sigh. So that attack was even stronger than Caliburn.


Now I want to play it even more. I'd use Atlas, but personally, it just kills the game for me. All suspense and everything is lost IMO. I hope mirrormoon works diligently on it and has it out soon. Even though they say they're only about half done...

On a completely slightly unrelated note, every time I see the header image I rejoice at Rin's and Shirou's superior relationship. Although I have yet to observe the "goodies" in HF I, by a significantly large margin, like Rin the most. It doesn't matter how hit it is. She'll always be hotter. Hello I finished downloading the torrent and I now have these files

I have the full version of magicIso and I have tried to put the .bin files on cd's to be able to play, but I can't for the life of me get it to work. Can anyone take to the time to explain it to me? Sorry, I know its a lot to ask but I'm really desperate to play Fate/stay night

MagicISO sounds gay. Just use Daemon Tools: it's fast, simple, and easy to use. Google search it and DL then install it. There should be a little Daemon Tools Agent in the notification area place. If not just open up Daemon TOols. Anyways, left click, click the "No media" and browse for "FateDisc1.bin 707.6 MB". I believe it auto-runs. It'll prompt you to install (it's in Japanese but it should be obvious what you need to press). When it asks you for the next CD, right click on the agent then click the Media you loaded earlier. Replace it with "FateDisc2.bin 707.6 MB". Do the same thing for the third one EXCEPT you load the "FateDisc3.ccd 772 Bytes". Installation should be done, run the English patch, and enjoy the game.

Honestly, you could've easily searched for the answer yourself. :/

And you don't need to put it onto a CD if you just want to play it. And it's easier and faster IMO.

I've been using Daemon Tools Lite 4.30.1 and the first 2 CD's mount without problem. When the installation asks for the 3rd CD, I mount the .ccd file. However, the installation resumes for like, 3-5 more seconds and then my computer crashes. This has happened every time I mounted the 3rd CD and continued the installation.

Anybody have ideas as to the cause?

EDIT: I uninstalled 4.3 and installed an older version of Daemon Tools (4.12) and the .ccd file no longer has problems. Now I need to find the "Japanese Realta Nua DVD".

You shouldn't need the Realta Nua DVD unless you want everything voiced. I'm guessing you're installing the English patch, and it's giving you two choices of the regular installation and if you want it voiced, that you'd need to insert Realta Nua DVD. If you do, you'll have to find that....if it hasn't been posted here...which I don't think it has...

NOO! I'm finally starting Heavens Feel. But it's in JAPANESE?! Can someone help me change them to English? When you installed the English patch from mirrormoon, was your Heavens Feel Japanese?

As I recall, That part was an unfinished job from mirrormoon. Their still doing it, I think....

The patch for Heavens feel is really coming along. The translation progress is 100% and the editing progress is 70% complete. Some of the beta testers are already at day 10. So, it looks like we may not have to wait so long to play the final arc.

Luckily no one notice. :oops:

for me it's when I played "Brave Soul" in the living room and my parents was watching TV, the first Alicia?(You know what I mean) naked scene, I awkwardly change it to Solitaire.

One of the games that's at the top of my H-game/VN's list, and i haven't even playted the Heaven's Feel route yet.
Luckily it'll be out soon so we can get us some more FSN awesomeness :P

should be soon, mirror moon has been working on it for quite a while, and the last update I saw was that they were just on the final editing part, where they check it through and wrap it up.
