Genesis for me. Why save the princess from a fire-breathing turtle when I can run fast enough to break the sound barrier, or go super powered and fight gem-stealing robots in space?

I had both the Atari and intellivision. The intellivision was much better - but the colecovision was the console everyone wanted - as it had the best graphics and a uber version of donkey kong. But my dad wouldn't get me one :-( at least now nowadays I have a good pc and mame ;-)

I voted for the SNES. Back when I only had NES games, I was just messing around with video games, and just renting random stuff from the shelf. With the SNES, I started to be more selective. I began to refine my tastes, and think about what I genuinely enjoyed.

I had a genesis, I was a fourth generation gamer.Yeah I didn't include anything after 4th gen, all the consoles in the poll are great, I just wanted to know favorites. Also what was your favorite game for the Sega Genesis?

Umm, I really couldn't put them in order I know Spider-man:Maximum Carnage was the first game I ever played and I loved it
but my other two would be gunstar hero's and Streets of Rage 1 & 2

Because I love how the colors look together. It's similar to rainbow text but not as extreme or intense ^_^

But Alice, I don't see how you could find anything wrong with having your font colors be rainbow like.

Rainbow is nice sometimes, but not everyone wants to have their eyes messed up by it.
Let's keep the conversation on track with video games shall we? It wouldn't be good if it derailed too much

Yep, I'm not sure if there were any other games other than Michael Jackson. If I can remember any other game systems or even games, I will be sure to post here.

The Sega Master System. Considering that it's the only retro console I had, that's no surprise. It's a pity that it had such a small library (and that I never owned Phantasy Star, the best game on it).

Famicom for me (NES was a rare console in the Philippines back then. We were pretty much dominated by the Famicom during the early/mid 80's to the 90's). I still have my old games like Famista '92 (baseball game), Tecmo Bowl, Willow, and Super Mario Bros (unfortunately the I only have the cartridge w/o the plastic case anymore).

I used to own that genesis/sega cd combo.
Loved the hell out of it. Miss it dearly, nothing like playing UMK3 until you pass out with your bro.
