What your favorites Shin Megami Tensei games?

well I dunno about favorite but I know the one I hated was "nocturne"....I had a lot of troubles with that game...<_< lol

Devil summoner was fun...weird, but fun

Personas.

Persona.... but the Lucifer`s call interest me.... but I`m late at buying it... and know I can`t find it....

For story and characters, Persona 4.
For gameplay and challenge, Nocturne.
For a combination of both, DDS&DDS2 - though you have to wait till the 2nd one for the story to really kick in.

I need to check out Nocturne, DDS, and DDS2. I've only played Persona 3 and 4 so I'm going to have to say those are my favorites.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. I've only played P3 and P4. But I'll be expanding to Devil Summoner 2 soon hopefully.

Persona 3 for me... Even though I still need to beat it.

I also need to play more Persona 2: Innocent Sin (never released here), but I just can't find the time = (

Nocturne is also really fun, but like most SMT games, it likes to dismantle you after an hour of unsaved work.

Sometimes MegaTen games feel like Nethack...

Persona 4 for how easy it is for an SMT, finally dont have to restart every half an hour. =)

Nocturne is one of my favorite games in my library as well as one of my rarest.


I'd say Persona 3 FES is my favorite Shin Megami Tensei game cause of the story and characters. No one can beat Minato. He'll rise up from the ashes like a phinox. A PHINOX I SAY!

i loved digital devil saga! and i'm waiting for the nds one, i wish it would be cool

well i thought Nocturne was my favorite....... then i played Persona 3:FES........... 140+ hrs until i actually beat the game. i've never played a game that long and had not beaten it yet (i put that kind of time in Nippon Ichi games, but thats usaully post-game). thats how hooked i was O_O

im currently playing Imagine online, its kool but is nowhere near the greatest that can be experienced playing the console SMT games ^_^

P3 certenly went to the top of list of favorite game series as soon as I got it.

1.Metal Gear Solid
2.Final Fantasy
3.GTA (not so much GTAIV)
4.Silent Hill (the 5th one don't count in my eyes since it missed the point of what a Silent Hill game is about.)
5.Persona

I have a huge library so 5th is highly ranked. Resident Evil used to be my 5th.
