nice one, but they change the name because the producers and the creators, have diferent ideas about the game which ended in the producers win and they recreate the game

Bah, Developer's got the legal rights to the F.E.A.R. name back so now EVERYONE'S RIGHT.

I'm finding that this one isn't half as frightening as the first. :/ I think it's because all the mystery is taken out of it, plus alma never just walks by at random anymore, she always flashes in or drags you into a hallucination. The scenes from F.E.A.R. where you'd just be walking along, crawling through a crawlspace and all of sudden BAM SHE'S RUSHING RIGHT AT YOU ON ALL FOURS THROUGH THE STEAM OMG SHOOT IT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I miss that, now that she's all old she's lame. :(

i loved F.E.A.R 2 , yes it had its moments and it wasn't as frightening as the 1st , but i loved it..

Excellent game!, the history, the gameplay, its a good game if you want to get scared, i recommend play this in the night and without lights! :twisted:

I played the demo, and I thought it looked really good. I'll definitely give it a rental when I finish the other games I'm playing.

The first game had really good gunfights and horror segments, and the second game looks to refine each element. Yahtzee was right in stating that the action segments change to horror and back with an audible clunk, but I can live with it. And you can't deny that while seemingly out of place, the mech segments are pretty fun.
