That took forever to beat. Of course, it's kinda my fault for choosing shitty characters to beat it with. Of course, being obsessed with .Hack compelled me to get 100% completion. All items, all characters maxed out with 150 stats, all characters using the best items i could find, all epitaph weapons at highest levels, and i almost drove myself to complete all dungeons, before realizing that i would waste my life to no end doing that. Dickstroke over.
yeah, that side quest was really long and exhausting. I only used Shino and Zelkova, and I even recently stop playing when all the monsters starts to have "Hp damage to MP", physical barrier, and HP regen. Those one are the most troublesome.
I used Atoli and Zelkova. Atoli and Shino are pretty much the same at max level, except on has an epitaph weapon :wink:
Yeah, I think I got biased by whom I like most, since Atoli's voice in the US version is way annoying. :roll: Not much difference in their characters or stats though. I wish Ovan was a playable character.

I've always had Atoli as main part of my party, because it's reassuring to have a harvest cleric along. Plus i have Atoli's SP doubled for continous healing. I've alaways been fond of Atoli. I gotta tell you though, it freaked me out when she went all crazy. If Ovan was a playable character, they'd probably have to make Aina one too. Also one of his awakenings should be him losing the AIDA guard on his arm. It could be called "AIDA Awakening" or something

Man, I need to pick this game up again. I completed it and did everything apart from the wedding/friendship scenes and the Forest of Pain. I was even watching the anime but stopped watching that too. Alkaid is so fucking hot, too. One of things that attracted me to the game in the first place. I actually like her voice, which is odd for a US dub.

i just recently got the third game, after i finish my stuff for school im going to finish it
whe i got the dual gunner form i didn't like it, my basic strategy is to rely on constant rengeki's, but then i upgraded the guns to get some better ammo compacity and figured out how to get some quicker rengeki's with them and now i fucking love it
i think im going to do some save scumming so i can see some of the different endings but i know in the end i'm going with atoli

Lol i love .hack GU, played it whenever i got a chance. Im a little bit pissed that i wasnt able to get the special item/s you get from beating doppelganger in each volume, i only found out at the 3rd volume Redemption
